“It’s so unfortunate I didn’t get to hear your duet.”, Isaac puckered his lip. I decided to tell him immediately before he even knows from the other guys. He proceeded to the door.

“Where are you going?”, I asked.

“I’m just going to place my guitar in the car. I’ll be back. And then, I’ll take you to dinner.”, he winked at me.

“But we can eat here.”, We are still at Kennedy’s and there seems to be no problem to eat here. Besides, here, it’s free to eat anything. We work here.

“I know.”, he turned back again to face me and approached me. He held my hand in his and continued, “But, I haven’t taken you out for how long already?” He was right. We haven’t been out on a dinner date or a simple date for too long now. How can I not notice that?

I smiled up at him and said, “Oh. Okay. I’m excited.”, and put my hands on either sides of his beautiful face. He has the prettiest face here in LA. I’m really grateful he chose to stick around me. He is ridiculously tall and well-built that’s why sometimes I feel like I’m walking around with a bouncer of something. “Go ahead and I’ll just fix myself a little.”

“Okay, I’ll go.”, he let go of me and stood up. But he faced me again and kissed the tip of my nose quickly. “But don’t fix yourself too much.”, he muttered so closely to my face.

            “Say what?”, I’m confused.

“You don’t need make up.”, he kissed my forehead and my skin tingled.

“You’re naturally beautiful, baby.”, then kissed my nose.

“And I’m glad,”, finally a kiss on my lips. “, that you’re mine.”

And with that, he exits the back room and leaves me all stunned at his unbelievable thinking about me. Do I even deserve him? I can’t even act equally as romantic and sweet as him. I feel like I’m never going to be good enough for him. I started fixing myself to keep me occupied and started thinking again.

My thoughts have drifted so far when the door opens again. I expected that was Isaac so I ran up and hugged him tightly. I thought I had to do that simple gesture to assure Isaac I still feel the same I had before when we first met and I could be as sweet as him. It was too dark but I knew that was him. He wouldn’t take too long. But it’s when I nuzzled closer to his chest that I realized it wasn’t him, but the guy hugged me back.

I switched the light on and…

“Oh, shit.”, I let go and he did the same. It was Luke.

“Why’d you hug a random stranger coming in the back room?”, he softly laughed. Suddenly, I’m annoyed.

“I thought you were Isaac.”, I crossed my arms on my chest. “And, no I don’t just hug a random stranger. I rarely even hug anyone.”

“What?”, he looked surprised. “You’re weird.”, he smiled wickedly.

“Yeah. Deal with it.”, I responded sticking my tongue out to him.

“And cute.”, he smiled again. Why does he always look so attractive every time? That should be quite illegal because everyone should have their bad hair day moments or bad face day moments, something like that.
