Red Angel

18 3 5

My conscience slid into a space unknown

Coming to rest in a harbor of white brilliance

Discomfort and anxiety dissolving into non-existence

...for in me they no longer had a home

Everything had been consumed by the light

Everything except my being and the figure in red

We conferred thoughtfully with words unsaid

...and with serenity it was time to fight

Red wings lifted up behind a face unseen

And the harbinger of strength fell backwards

Descending into the infinite white of Heaven's lords

...ghosts of the living welcoming me from my dream

The questioning assault of corporeal forms confuse me

Thoughts fragmented on the precipice of understanding

Something important, lost, in the process of awakening

...

...

...and then I see her tears and I know love's sincerity
