"Kakashi..."
A stared ahead nervously, my heart thundering in my chest as my bare feet met the soft dirt of the forest path to the start of my new life. My wedding attire swept gracefully over the earth, the delicate fabric catching the golden sunbeams filtering down through the thick leaves.
"Do... I look alright?"
My lips quivered as his arm that was hooked with my mine tightened in reassurance and I looked up into the tender dark grey eyes of Kakashi Hatake.
"You look beautiful, Tenshi..."
My heart swelled at his words as we broke the forest clearing where everyone waited. The outdoor venue was completely breathtaking, bordered by wild mountain flowers and overlooking the massive, swirling ocean of clouds below.
Waiting at the altar was Itachi Uchiha, looking more handsome than I had ever seen him. Standing proudly beside him as his best men were Sasuke and the rest of the Akatsuki rogues, who were actually on their best behavior for once. On my side of the altar stood Hinata, Sakura, a beaming Naruto and Fūma.
And not just her, Akai, Tetsu— dozens of dragons were there, resting high on the canyon that surrounded the venue. I could even feel Mirai watching. Among the dragons there was a hatchling who sat in front of Yūki. A small black scaled dragon with a small tuffs of white fur in its mane, with fox tails, bat like wings and crimson red eyes. Yūki offered me a soft knowing gaze for a moment, and for a moment I thought I saw the ghost of a certain dragon beside her.
"Little rider..."
My heart swelled at the sight of him...before I smiled softly and returned my gaze to my husband to be.
Kakashi brought me all the way to the front, placing my hand gently into Itachi's with a fond nod before stepping back.
My father stood tall at the center, looking out over the crowd before raising his hands. "We are gathered here today to witness the joining of Itachi Uchiha and Tenshi Soraki."
