Food Courts and Awkward Moments

Connor's POV

On our way! I want some of that weird pizza stuff. Where it's all wrapped up with the cheese, pepperonis, black olives, ranch and whatever else I decide to put on there.

I laughed at her reply. I swear she could live off of anything that involves cheese, pepperonis, or potatoes.

A few minutes later I see her walk around the corner in her Dirty Pigs baseball t-shirt, cut off shorts, and black converse.(A/N picture on the side) Honestly she could wear sweats and a ratty old t-shirt and she would look just as beautiful.

As she got to our table she looked at me and said "Connor come on I need food."

"Alright head to the pizza place I'm right behind you. What about you Courtney?"

"I'll eat the same as McKenzie," she said with a laugh.

Courtney and I walked in tail behind McKenzie she had her sight set on the pizza place and she wasn't stopping till she made it there. As she got to the counter she started to place her order. Of course she ordered exactly what she had texted to me and a Mountain Dew. Courtney ordered almost the same thing except she didn't want any black olives.

As the food came out of the oven the lady behind the counter wrapped up their pizza/sandwich thing and rung up the total "$20.35," the lady said with a monotone.

I reached in my wallet and pulled out $21 and said "keep the change," And turned to follow Courtney and McKenzie back to our table.

*After we ate and had left the mall*

"So what did you get at Victoria's Secret?" Ricky asked raising his eyebrows.

McKenzie turned red and ran up the stairs and toward her room. What did she buy I wondered to myself.

"It makes me suspicious what she bought now that she's run from answering the question." Jc said with a smirk.

McKenzie's POV

I did not want them to see what I had bought. It would be so embarassing and awkward. Its not like I bought anything to extreme but it wasn't just boy shorts or bikinis either.

Since it was about 10 p.m. when I got done putting my new clothes, and books away, I figured i would go take a shower and get ready for bed. I grabbed a sports bra, boy shorts, and my Captain America onsie Connor had gotten for me after I hurt my knee. (A/N picture on side)

I walked over to the bathroom door and knocked on the door making sure Jc wasn't in there. Since I didn't get a reply I walked to the other side of the bathroom knocked on Jc's door. I heard a faint come in. I opened the door and stuck my head in Jc's room and told him I was fixin to get in the shower. He nodded an ok and went back to playing on his phone. I locked the door to his side and made my way to the shower. I think im might take a little time to soak today since I just got the stiches out my knee probably needs to be washed a little.

After taking a shower and getting dressed I walked down stairs to get a Mountain Dew. On the way back to my room I knocked on Connor's door then walked in. He was talking to his camera. He looked at me and smiled.

"You're wearing your Captain America onsie," he said with a smile.

He motioned me over, turned to the camera, and said "This is McKenzie the teen that Ricky adopted," he said as I sat down and waved to the camera. " She loves Captain America, and a few weeks ago she got hurt playing basketball so I bought her the onsie to make her feel a little better."

He then signed out and smiled at me. " Do you like it?" he said.

"Yes. I love it!" I said with a huge smile.

"Good, well you better get to bed it's getting late," he said kinda laughing.

I stuck my tongue out then got up I turned as I left his room and stuck my tongue out at him. "Good Night Connor," I said as I left his room and went across the hall to my room. I turned on my music, turned out my lights, and got into bed. I fell asleep shortly afterwards.
