ANXIETY IS NOT JUST WORRYING
anxiety is a mental illness okay? its not just worrying about exams, caring what people think etc etc
•its when you physically ever leave the house and when you do you want to just fade into the non existent
•its struggling to keep eye contact with people you don't know very well
•its not being able to pay for something
•its not being able to speak loudly
•its not being able to answer a question in class
•its not being able to participate in school activities, gymnastics, pe, swimming etcITS NOT BEING ABLE TO DO NORMAL DAILY TASKS!
so do not! even try to say that people with anxiety are just overreacting and that there just insecure because that's not the fucking half of it.
society makes people with anxiety feel like there needy or that they are overreacting when in actual fact its an illness that we can't cure! we can get help and yes we should, but its society that makes us feel embarrassed and ashamed of this and many other illnesses.
please never be ashamed.
