It has been a super long day, well it seemed to Team Voltron and you. The team was in the lounge room, you had just walked in with a tray of water and some snacks. You had held out the tray to the team members as they had grabbed themselves a cup of water and a snack.
"Thanks Y/n!" spoke Hunk and Shiro.
You had nodded before you had walked back into the hallway into the kitchen to put the tray away. You had softly sighed as you had just set the tray on the table since you couldn't remember which drawer held the trays. You were sure that Hunk knew, but knew not to bother him since he had cooked a lot for you and the team. You had heard the door open, then you had heard a familiar Cuban voice.
"I better use my ice blast because my heart's on fire"
"Lance-"
You had groaned a little before you had looked at the Blue Lion's Paladin. You'd have to admit that you actually love the guy, but weren't to sure if he was actually committing to his cheesy pick-up lines. Sure you have went through breakups, but this time you actually loved Lance and didn't want to be hurt again.
"Are cheesy pick-up all you have?" you asked with a smirk.
"Maybe I do, maybe I don't-" Lance replied with a smirk.
After what Lance had said you had blushed darkly, you had turned around with a hand over your mouth. You had thought about so many things unsure if you should mention to the paladin that you love, but also you're afraid of being rejected and then being awkward around the love of your life.
"Y/n? are you there?"
"Castle of Lions to Y/n!"
"Lance did you really have to say that?!"
"Well sorry, Keith! I hope you realize we aren't on Earth, but a place called Castle of Lions"
You had opened your (e/c) orbs and looked around. You were in your room, that was in the Castle of Lions. Seeing that everyone was in your room, it kind of overwhelmed you. You saw that Hunk was the first to notice that you were awake.
"Hey, you two! Stop fighting Y/n is awake!" Hunk yelled at Keith and Lance.
Everyone had looked at you with worry and slight concern. You on the other hand felt fine and wondering what the heck was going on.
"Y/n, are you alright?" Allura asked getting in your face.
The princess's action had caused you to bump your head into the wall. Allura had gasped and then she had quickly apologized. You had smiled as if nothing had happened. Since the others had known that you were doing fine and that nothing was wrong with you. You thought that everyone had left, but you had saw a flash of blue.
"Lance?" You asked.
"What's up Y/n?" He asked.
You had smiled a little, but then it had been replaced with a nervous frown. Your hand had started to mess with your hair, almost everyone knew when you did this you were nervous or unsure about it.
"Y/n, is there something you wanna tell me?"
"Ah-... N-not right now" the words you spoke had stuttered.
"Are you sure because you do that hair twirling thing," Lance paused.
"Okay, I guess there's something I do want to tell you"
There was a somewhat longish moment of silence between the two. During the silence you were thinking about what to say, or how to say about your feelings towards lance. (E/c) eyes looking around the small looking room, but were clouded with thoughts. You didn't realize that the paladin that was still in your room had lifted your chin to look at him. Once back into thought it was too late to say anything, but only feel a little happiness because the Blue Lion's Paladin had pressed his lips against your (l/t) lips.
Closing your eyes you had moved your lips in sync. Your arms had wrapped around his neck, but it was more of your hands because you were still in bed. And Lance was trying not to sit on your legs because he didn't want to hurt you. After at least three minutes the two of you had parted for air, though you didn't really french kissed, I mean you guys kinda did, but not really.
"Are the most cheesy ass pick-up lines all ya got, Lancey?"
"I guess I do beautiful." the cuban replied.
