"Faster?" Scott asks from the front seat, his hands gripping the steering wheel tightly.

"Much faster." Stiles replies.

I spin around in my seat and watch as the black SUV follows closely behind us, it's lights blinding in the dark night.

Quickly I face the front once more an lean in between the seats. "We're going to die." I say to just Stiles, I'm still not entirely over Scott kissing me.

"Scott, I don't think you're grasping the concept of the car chase here." Stiles points out.

"If I go faster, I'll kill us."

"Well, if you don't go faster, they're gonna kill us!" Stiles snaps.

I turn around once more only to see the headlights turn away from Derek's car, "They're gone."

"What do you mean they're gone?" Stiles asks, facing behind us as well.

"I mean they left, let's get Derek." I snap, moving over for Stiles to climb in back.

We pull up to the lumber yard just in time to once again see the Argents SUV pull up again.

"Get in!" Stiles yells, throwing the door open. Derek glances over at us, his eyes wide as he tries to assess the situation. He shakes his head and flies into the passenger side of the car, hitting the seat hard.

"Go, go, go!" I yell, watching as Kate Argent climbs out of the car with a shot gun.

"What part of laying low don't you understand?" Scott snaps as he floors the gas, sending us flying forward.

"Damn it, I had him!" Derek yells back, slamming his hand on the dashboard.

"Who, the Alpha?" I ask, leaning forward once again so my head is in line with Derek's.

"Yes!" Derek turns to narrow his eyes at me, "He was right in front of me, and the friggin' police showed up."

I grab Stiles who let out a groan and soon enough his face is next to mine, in between the seats, "Whoa, hey, they're just doing their jobs-"

"Yeah," Derek cuts him off, making sure to send both him and Scott a murderous glare, "Thanks to someone who decided to make me the most wanted fugitive in the entire state."

"Can we seriously get past that?" Scott whines, "We made a dumbass mistake. We get it."

"There's no we." I snap, leaning back and crossing my arms.

"All right." Stiles sends me a warning glance, "How did you find him?"

Derek shifts in the seat, sending me a look in the rear view mirror.

"Can you try to trust us for at least half a second?" Scott demands, his hands tightening on the steering wheel.

"Yeah, all of us." Stiles adds, but upon seeing the look in Derek's eyes adds, "Or just Hetha. I'll be back here." He slouches next to me, huffing out a sigh.

I chuckle lightly and lay my head on Stiles's shoulder, watching the back of Derek's head intently.

"Look the last time I talked to my sister, she was close to figuring something out." Derek explains, "She found two things. The first was a guy named Harris."

"Our chemistry teacher?" I ask, my eyes dipping closed as I suddenly feel the weight of staying up so late to plan this.

"Why him?" Scott adds on.

"I don't know yet." Derek shrugs, seeming to finally settle down.

"What's the second?" I ask numbly, wrapping my arm around Stiles's own arm.
