"Einstein once said, 'Two things are infinite: The universe and human stupidity; And I'm not sure about the universe.'" Harris began class, staring distastefully at Stiles, "I myself have encountered infinite stupidity. So to combat the plague of ignorance in my class, you're going to combine efforts through a round of group experiments. Let's see if two heads are indeed better than one. Or in Mr. Stilinski's case, less than one." I fought back a laugh, Harris really hated Stiles.

He glances around the room and pointed to the back, "Erica, you take the first station. You'll start with-" most of the boys in the classroom raised their hands and Harris looked beyond disappointed in them, "I didn't ask for volunteers. Put your hormonal little hands down. Start with Mr. McCall." Scott shuttered and moved to sit down next to Erica.

I paired up with Stiles after Allison had slid into the seat next to Lydia. I let Stiles do the work on the assignment while I listen to the pair in front of us.

"Whatever you're thinking about doing, wait." Scott muttered to Erica, "Give me a chance to talk to Derek."

"Why don't you talk to me instead? That's funny." She motioned to Allison who was whispering to Lydia, "In school, you guys act like you're broken up, but she's all over you."

"I don't know what you're talking about." Scott shrugged.

"If I were Allison, I'd be wanting you... All the time." I almost gagged at Ericas attempt to seduce Scott.

"You're not my type." He murmured.

Erica leaned forward and I noticed her claws digging into Scotts thigh, "I'm exactly your type."

"Switch." Harris hollers and Scott slides into the seat next to Lydia, keeping the two betas from her.

I sit next to Isaac and snarl at him, "If you harm one perfect strawberry blonde hair on her head, I'm gonna turn your little werewolf ass into a fur coat and give it to her as a birthday present."

"Really?" Isaac asks, "I've never actually been to one of your guys' big, invite-only birthday parties. I did ask her out once though."

"Sounds like the beginning to a heartfelt story." I snap, pouring more liquid into the beaker, "I'm gonna pass, thanks."

"It was the first day of freshman year." He starts and I roll my eyes.

"And you thought everything was gonna be different for you in high school, but she said no." I snap, "I remember her telling me about it."

"Yeah." Isaac nods, "Yeah, she even laughed. Told me to come back when the bike I rode to school had an engine, not a chain."

"Mmm" I hum, "unrequited love's a bitch. Maybe you should write about it in English class, you know? Channel all that negative energy."

"Nah, I was thinking I'd channel it into killing her." Isaac growls, "I'm not very good at writing."

I feel my eyes flare up as anger courses through me, "Try it, see what happens."

"And switch." Harris calls.

Isaac gets up before Harris finishes the word and is sitting next to my sister.

Stiles hovers near them as I sit next to Scott at the table across from them. I hear low growls leaving my mouth against my own will. Just seeing Isaac next to Lydia makes my blood boil.

"Hetha." Scott whispers, placing a hand on mine.

"If you're trying to test my patience, Mr. Stilinski, I guarantee it'll be a failing grade." Harris snaps at Stiles who is hovering behind my sister and Isaac.
