1:Weird Trio

"7.20". I read my watch on my right wrist. Somebody who i'm waiting for still not arrived.'The assembly will start in ten minutes'. I mumbling under my breath. Most of the students passing by me and running to the school hall. While i'm here standing like an electric pole because of someone who-not-punctual not yet to be arrived. While i was still there walking back and forth waiting for my friend, someone running towards the school and accidentally hit me.

"Hey, watch where you going!". I get up and brushes the dirt of my butt.I looked up and see the person who wise enough to just hit me while I'm clearly standing there like an electric pole.

"I'm rewlly sowy but I hafe to go nou".Said the person who just hit me with a toast in his mouth. He wears sweatshirt paired with black jeans and his dirty brown hair fall just under his brow. After a really quick apologize he running back to the school hall.

A minute after that, someone-who-not-punctual running all of her might towards the school. I cross my arms over my chest about to start my lecture about how important it is time in your life when she suddenly grabbed my hand and now we both running to the school hall. As we both reached the school hall which now full of the students, I and Mia go to our class line.

"Whoo we're not late". Says Mia and wipe all the sweat on her forehead with a tissue. I rolling my eyes to her. "What?". She say without feeling any guilty. Oh my god why do I have a friend like her. "Yeay, we barely make it." I shoot it back at her. I may not be the best student in this Eastern High but I'm really hate it when I'm late to school. It's not that I like school very much. Duh, who like school anyways? But it's just hate it.

Mia's face turned sour. She's finally realised how pissed I am. " Ouhhh, don't be so mad. I have a big news to tell you this morning. But I guess I'll just tell you when lunch" . She says with a bright smile plastered on her face. And I smile. If it is not because of our friendship I would not forgive her. After that the assembly starting and we have to hear all those lecture and advices that was probably being repeated over and over again every Monday.

Last week was our first day in school as a senior year. I did totally looking forward for this year. Finally, I won't have to have dealing with all this school sh*t anymore. Mia obviously excited because she wants the feel of senior year student, which she will probably disappointed. I bet.

After a few classes like the boring history and the unsolvable math, finally it is lunch and I'm finally can filled my empty stomach. I have used all the breakfast energy this morning because of the running thing with Mia.

"So, what's the big news you want to tell me about?". I asked and have a big bite of my burger. The burger not that good anyway. It's just that I'm so hungry.

"Woowoowoo slow down. I don't want you to die because of choking a burger." She says followed by a little chuckle."Okay, do you remember I told you about my best friend last year?" 

I stopped chomping my burger trying to remember. "Ouh, him why?". I asked and continue eating my lunch.

" He transfer to our school today!. Look we can be friends and hang out together so now we won't look like a lonely loser". She says excitedly nearly jumping from the canteen chair.

"Okay. So where is he?"

"He behind you". One strange voice coming behind me and I turn and faced the owner of that voice. Unpredictable.

"Hey".

"You serious?" I say kind of pissed off tone.

"Okay I'm really sorry about this morning. I just got here so I have to be early right?". Adam trying to persuade me.

"Wait. You guys knew each other?" Mia asked confused.

"Technically yes. Officially no". I say and looked at Adam. He just nod his head. Adam told Mia everything that happened this morning and she just laughing her ass off knowing I fall like a spoiled jack fruit in front of the school. And Adam really felt bad about what happened to me, and I understand him and forgive him.

Adam and Mia is an ex-classmate from her old school before she transferred here one year ago. I remember Mia told me how she first met him. Mia is the most excellent student in her class, allowing her jealous classmates to bully her. Mia is a kind and soft person, so she just let it slide away. Until one day they Adam saw the bully bullying her at the back of the school and he saved her that day. Even though they were classmates, Adam never knew she is being bullied because Mia just keep her mouth shut as she didn't want to complicated things up. After that Adam been friend with Mia and protecting her from the bully. Technically Adam like her fairy mother who protect her.

"Oh my god, I miss you my bodyguard". Mia says and give a tight hug to Adam.

And that's how we became the best trio friends ever. We spend most of the time together in class except for Adam because he is in different class but we will see him in P.E because we combined class. I hope we will stay in this situation without any problem or drama waiting for us until we graduate.

Probably, not.

The first month of school this year going on pretty smooth without trouble, well except for Adam because he had a trouble with History. He says his brain gone blank with all those facts and names. So as a good friend I 'suppose', Mia and I tutor him with every Saturday morning at the café nearby our school. Or in other words I being dragged along with their date. I knew that secretly Mia had a crush on Adam. Well, who wouldn't?. He pop 'up like a superhero last time and helped her from being beaten from those monsters (the bully). I would honestly, if he's not my friend.

Nonsense. I wouldn't do that to Mia.

"Hey, do you guys know Ava Cooper from 5-1?". Adam spitting a question after a long silent doing some History questions.

We currently at The Bites having this cafe signature bubble tea and sandwiches. I froze hearing Adam question.

"No, why?" Mia respond and slurp her bubble tea.

"Actually she been hitting on me lately"

"Wait, someone actually that dumb?" Mia laughing her ass out.

Adam rolled his eyes. And I sit there, frozen trying not to spill the beans.
