What do you see when you look at me?
How does someone lose feelings as simple as losing a key chain?
The worth of our memories is priceless to me so is it just pennies to you?
Sure you can say it's not my fault but then what happened to make me lose you?
You said you could hear my heart breaking...
So why did you just watch?
You were the one person I thought would stay.. but of course you got sick of me too.
I look at you and I see the same eyes that have seen every part of me, every side to my personality; the same eyes that have looked deep into my soul, and I have let see into my mind.
When I gaze upon you I see the same arms that have held me whenever I felt weak; the same hands that have pulled me up whenever I have fallen; and the same fingers that perfectly fit in between mine, the ones that have wiped away so many of my tears.
At a glimpse of you I see the same lips that I've kissed a million times, that I could never get tired of kissing; the same mouth that has spoken to me such beautiful words: of love, passion, and devotion.
What do you see when you look at me?
You gave me a blank stare, there was no pain in your eyes to see me crumbling before you.
Your arms remained at your side as I desperately tried to hold myself together with my own.
All of my tears fell, down my cheek onto the ground.
For, your fingers were no where near.
I looked at you and you kept repeating the words...
"I don't want to be with you anymore."
They still echo in my mind.
