The next day I woke up early.
I couldn't sleep well and Wesley was snoring very loudly. I went downstairs and headed to the back yard. I decided to watch the sunrise. I loved sunrises ever since I was younger. I always thought when the sunrises god was painting the sky beautiful colors. I know it sounds silly but I was only 5.
As the sky went from blue to orange I felt a hand on my shoulder. I turn around to see Wesley and Bailey with Oscar in her arms.
They sit beside me looking at the beautiful sunrise. Wesley begins to speak but stops. I know what he was about to say. "Are you Alright?" That question was starting to annoy me.
I mean I'm obviously not gonna be okay for a while. But I'll fine right now I just want to be alone really. Bailey handed me Oscar and went back inside with Wesley. I rubbed oscars ears as he moved his feet in his sleep. Almost as if he was running. I looked up and saw what I've never seen before. I saw why god created the earth. It was so even after our hardest moments in life we could always look back at something beautiful like the sunrise or the things that make us happy. Just like how Oscar and all my friends make me happy.
I went back inside and sat on the couch with Oscar. Hayes came downstairs running and looked extremely worried. He looked at me calmed down. Hayes sat beside me and out his arm around me. I laughed at his stupidity, and he looked confused so he asked" why are you laughing?" I said "because you came downstairs looking stupid." He poured and pretended to cry. We sat there in silence for a while and I decided to get up and call my friends downstairs. Everyone came downstairs and asked what's wrong. I said"nothing that's the problem, I'm fine ok, i know I was raped and I know y'all are worried but please stop I just want us to go back to normal." Everyone nodded and went silent. " umm guys this isn't normal stat talking make jokes or something."
Everyone was still quiet so I said this"you know what everyone except Wesley Bailey Veronica Lulu get out." Everyone left instantly except Hayes he hesitated a little but left after I gave him a hug. Wesley asked why I told them to stay so I said" because we're going out tonight, I'm tired of being in this house i need to live again. They looked at each other and screamed with excitement. Wesley yelled"L.D's back bitches!!!!"
