Chapter 8

~Your POV~

I sighed and got off of the swing to start heading home. I didn't even bother to look up to see where I was going. It turns out I had walked onto the street what got my attention was the loud honking of a horn and a sudden impact.

~Levi's POV~

I looked around for (y/n) I needed to find her. I looked around but couldn't find any sign of her. This is until I heard a loud sound and a girl scream.

I ran towards the scream then saw someone getting out of what looked like a carriage and they were looking at something, no not something someone.

"(Y/N)!!" I quickly kneeled down and looked down at her she didn't look too good.

The last next bit seemed blurry to me next thing I knew I was sitting in what looked like a hospital room. I kept my hands in my hair waiting for someone to tell me she's okay. The sound of a door opening caught my attention.

"Someone here for (Y/n) (l/n)?" The doctor said so I stood up.

"Is she Okay?" I tried to not sound so worried but I couldn't help it if I would've never said or acted the way I did before she walked out this wouldn't of happened.

He sighed "She'll be okay but, she's in a coma."

"Coma.... for how long?" I became more worried I didn't want her to be suffering.

"Shortest amount of time I would say is a year." He said after looking through a clip board he had in his hand.

I have to wait to hear her talk or be able to see her smile.... I looked at the doctor "Alright. Am I allowed to see her?"

He nodded and stepped out of the way allowing me entrance. I walked in and saw the state she was in. Bandages wrapped around her head, a cast around her arm, the rest just filled in with cuts and bruises.

I slowly walked over to the bed never had I wished more to be able to switch places with someone. I'd give anything to be in her place and not have her go through this. I sat down in a chair by the bed and held her hand.

"Why did this have to happen?" I looked down at her before resting my head against her forehead.

After staying there for a while as much as I didn't want to I knew I had to head back. I kissed her forehead gently before closing my eyes.

"I'll be back tomorrow.... I promise." I took one last look at her before heading back with only her smile going through my mind. My hands in a fist thinking of how much of an idiot I was.

After getting back I explained everything that I saw to them. Jaeger, who had finally come down from (y/n)'s room didn't have any idea of what I was talking about. After I finished I sat there for a while before going up to her room and laid in her bed wanting her to be awake more than anything. I eventually ended up worrying and drained my self emotionally into falling asleep.
