The next day was normal and no one cared really about what happened yesterday, but they gang didn't want to talk about it, especially Ash.

Speaking of Ash, he was in Ela with Serena and they were writing an essay about their dreams/goals.Ash was having the time of his life but no one could say the same for Serena.

She couldn't even know what her dream was. Her mother always wanted her to be a rhyhorn racer but she doesn't want to be that. She always enjoyed performing and praticing with fennekin sometimes but never entered a showcase because her mother would hate her for that.

Ash saw that Serena was struggling and focus his attention on her.

"Hey, Serena? Is something wrong?" he whispered

"N-Yes, I don't have a dream to write about" she whispered back sadly

"Well, what do you enjoy the most?" he asked

"I love performing but my mom wants me to be a rhyhorn racer and I don't want to disappoint her" she said

"Serena, your mother isn't like that and shouldn't be like that. She loves you and she should be happy at what you want to chose for your life" he said with seriousness in his voice

Serena stared at Ash and smiled and nodded "Ok, thanks Ash"

"No problem" he smiled and went back to writing

Serena stared at Ash for a little longer before she looked away and started to write down her new goal and dream. 

Soon the bell rung and class was over. Everyone turned in their assingnment and went to their next class

Time Skip
It was now time to go home and Ash was going over Serena's house. Pikachu was cuddled up asleep in Ash's arms making Serena giggle at the adorable scene.

"So Serena? Are you going to become a performer?" Ash asked

"Huh? I don't know Ash... what am I gonna tell mom? What if she yells at me?" Serena signed sadly

"Then I will be right beside you all the way" Ash smiled

"Really?" Serena asked and looked into Ash's eyes

"Yeah, I always will be" Ash smiled

"Thanks Ashy, oh we're here!" Serena said and ran into her house

Ash walked in after her and set pikachu down on the couch and went into the kitchen where Serena and her mom were.

"Hi mom" Serena greeted

"Hi darling, oh hello there Ash!" Serena's mom said

"Hello Miss. Grace, its very nice to see you again" Ash said politely

"Very nice to see you too dear, Serena, can you get ready for pratice?" Grace asked and looked at her nervous daughter

"Well mom, I wanted to talk to you about that" Serena said nervously

"What about it sweetheart?" Grace asked

"Its just... I don't like it. I hate rhyhorn racing. I didn't tell you early because I didn't want to hurt you. I'm sorry if I'm now a disappointment to you but please don't yell at me" Serena confessed sadly and lowered her head

Grace said nothing but just stared at her daughter. She blinked back tears and hugged Serena. Serena was shocked at what her mother was doing but hugged her back.

"Mom? Are you ok?" Serena asked

"Yeah, I'm so so sorry that I pushed you so hard and made you become something that your not. I wanted people to look at you and say that your my daughter but I didn't want you to be so miserable doing it. I'm so so sorry honey" Grace said as she choked on her tiny sobbs

Serena had tears in her eyes and hugged her mom tighter" It's ok mom. I forgive you. I love you"

"I love tou too my little rhyhorn" Grace sniffed

The mother and daughter hugged until they were interrupted when they heard soft crying in the back round.

The stopped hugging and looked behind them to see Ash sitting on the table and was crying tears of joy.

"Sorry, I just couldn't help it. I promised myself I wouldn't cry" Ash sniffed

"Pikachu" Pikachu said as he shook his head with a sweatdrop

Serena giggled and hugged Ash "Well I wanted to thank you for giving me the courage to stand up to my mom Ashy"

"Your welcome, now how about we eat, I'm hungry" Ash said as pikachu jumped on his shoulder

"Sure, c'mon" Serena said and dragged Ash by the arm to the counter

Grace watched them and smiled 'looks like my daughter found herself a love' she thought and walked into the living room leaving the two love birds alone
