Practice makes perfect

Its Saturday and Ash was on his way to Serena's house. Pikachu was walking beside him and couldn't wait to see his friends again.

"I wonder what Serena is doing buddy" Ash said

"Pi pika(I don't know but I cant wait to see eevee)" pikachu replied

"Ooohh does someone have a crush?" Ash teased and picked up pikachu and carried him

"Pi-pika pi!pikachu!(N-No I don't! Well maybe I do but stop teasing me about it!)"pikachu said and blushed

Ash chuckled and scratched pikachu behind his ear. Before Ash could take another step, the saw an explosion in the forest.

"Uh oh, well looks like Serena's house is gonna wait. Come on pikachu!" Ash said and he and pikachu ran towards the explosion

They ran as fast as they could and when they got there, they saw Serena, panchum and fennekin on the ground.

"Serena?! Are you all alright?" Ash asked and rushed to Serena's side

"Yeah, I'm fine" Serena said and looked towards Ash

"What happened? We heard a big explosion when we were on our way to your house" Ash said

"Well I was trying to get ready for the performance next week and I wanted to enter so I did. But I don't have a routine" Serena said and looked away

Ash smiled and put his hand under Serena's chin so she was now facing him.

"Serena, what did I tell you back at Kanto" he asked

"Don't give up til its over" she replied

"Yeah, so if you don't give up then you'll get it right. Want some help?" Ash asked as he got up and held out his hand

"Not to be rude or anything but what do you know about performing?" she asked and took his hand

Ash snickered and pulled Serena up. He looked at pikachu and they both nodded and pikachu got into position.

"Well, I may or may not compete in one before. Here let me show you" Ash said

Serena nodded and went over to the side with fennekin and panchum as they watched to.

"Ready buddy" Ash whispered and pikachu nodded

"Ok, pikachu use triple electric balls thrn followed by iron tail!"

"PI PI PIKA!"

Three electrical balls of energy flew up in the air as pikachu fired up iron tail. His tail shined a bright silver and he jumped up in the air as the electric balls came down.

"PIII-KAA" pikachu yelled and cut each ball in half

A small explosion was heard before it quickly disappeared amd three lop-like ring appeared.

"Now pikachu! Use thunderbolt on each hoop"

Pikachu blasted a powerful thunderbolt that spreaded to each three rings and they all exploded into yellow sparkles.

"Done! What did you guys think?"

Serena, fennekin and panchum stared at Ash and pikachu in awe at the beautiful and great performance.

"Woah Ash! That was so beautiful!"

"Thanks, we've been praticing"

"So you think you could help me with my routine for the performance next week?" she asked

"Sure! Now lets start planning" Ash replied and they sat aganist a a tree and began talking

Time Skip
"And finish! How was that Ash?" Serena said

"That was abosoulty perfect, I think we have it packed down" Ash replied

"Good cuz I'm exhausted" Serena said and slumped down next to Ash after returning fennekin

"So... what do you wanna do?" Ash asked

"Well I am pretty tired  so you won't mind if I take a nap would you?" she asked hesitantly

"No not at all" he replied

Serena smiled and laid her head on Ash's shoulder. Ash was surprised by this but didn't say anything. He wrapped his arm around Serena's waist lightly and they both fell asleep peacefully.
