The Doctor and Tiaalen rounded a corner to the road where the TARDIS was parked. A bird cawed. The Doctor took the key out of his pocket, Tia looked up at the sky through the bare branches of a tree, sensing something was wrong. "Tiaalen?"
"Something's wrong..."
The Doctor scoffed, opening the doors of the TARDIS only to find the inside of his ship had disappeared. It was just an ordinary police-box. He stepped inside and felt around the walls frantically, then stopped. "Rose!" he ran back in the direction from which they came.

"Rose!" The Doctor shouted as he ran around the corner.
Upon hearing his voice, Rose smiled in a satisfied sort of way and turned around.
"Get in the church!" The Doctor ordered
Hearing the urgency in his voice, Rose's smile faded. The Doctor looked to her left, Rose followed his gaze and before her eyes, a reaper appeared, bearing down on her. She screamed. Tiaalen used the force to knock Rose out of the way just in time, and Rose fell to the ground. Rose scrambled quickly to her feet.
"Get in the church!" Tia ordered
The crowd outside the church tried to run for the door, but they stopped when another reaper appeared before them.
"Oh, my God. What are they?" Suzie asked
The guests in the church came out to see what the commotion was. Some of them screamed.
"Inside!" The Doctor ordered
The reaper bored down on them. The people who had just come out of the church tried to come out of the door.
"Stay in there!" The Doctor exclaimed.
Stuart stopped trying to get away. However, his father did not listen and tried to run for it. The reaper swooped down on him, covering his body with its wings. Sarah, horrified, tried to run into the church. The reaper positioned itself before, and she screamed. The reaper, however, decided to go for the priest instead. The Doctor ushered the guests before him.
"In!" The Doctor ordered.
The Reaper swooped towards the church doors, but Tiaalen used the force to shut them just in time. The Reaper screamed.
Once inside, the guests babbled in panic. The Doctor looked around at the shadows of the Reapers outside the windows.
"They can't get in. Old windows and doors, okay. The older something is, the stronger it is. What else?" The Doctor asked
The Reapers screeched.
"Go and check the other doors! Move!" The Doctor ran and pushed against a wooden door in the side of the church. Jackie ran after him.
"What's happening? What are they?" Jackie grabbed the Doctor's arm "What are they?"
"There's been an accident in time, a wound in time. They're like bacteria, taking advantage,"
"What do you mean, time? What're you jabbering on about, time?"
"Oh, I might've known you'd argue." The Doctor said irritated "Jackie, I'm sick of you complaining..."
"How'd you know my name?" Jackie asked cutting across him.
"I haven't got time for this..." The Doctor talked over her
"I've never met you in my life!" Jackie said also talking over him.
"No, and you never will unless I sort this out. Now, if you don't mind, I've waited a long time to say this, Jackie Tyler, do as I say. Go, and, check, the doors," The Doctor pointed in the direction of the doors, his voice loud and commanding. Jackie stared at him,"
"Yes, sir,"
The Doctor grinned, pleased with himself, as Jackie walked away and Stuart approached him. "I should've done that ages ago,"
"My dad was out there," Stuart said
"You can mourn him later, right now we've got to concentrate on keeping ourselves alive," The Doctor said.
"My dad had..."
"There's nothing I can do for him,"
"No. But he had this phone thing. I can't get it to work. I keep getting this voice..."
The Doctor dialed a number and held the phone to his ear.
"Watson, come here, we need you. Watson, come here, we need you," The voice said.
The Doctor raised his eyebrows in surprise. "That's the very first phone-call, Alexander Graham Bell." he gave the phone back "I don't think the telephone's gonna be much use," The Doctor ran off again to check another door.
"But someone must call the police!" Stuart called after him
"Police can't help you now. No-one can,"
Rose watched him, along with the other guests.
"Nothing in this Universe can harm those things. Time's been damaged and they've come to sterilize the would." The Doctor looked Rose in the eyes "By consuming everything in sight,"
"Is this because..." rose said shakily, looking at Tia
Tiaalen looked at her.
"Is this my fault?" Rose asked
Tia didn't answer, only looked at her. Yes. She walked away from her and towards the Doctor. Pete looked from one to the other, brow furrowed, then back down at Baby Rose in her carry-tot.
