It's Tuesday and i'm so excited. Derek called me an hour ago and asked if I was free. I told him yes and He said he'll be around to pick me up in 2 hours. EEEEEEEKK!!!! I'm so happy!! He's so beautiful and sweet and he has no bad record. (I did a backround check) I think I'm starting-

I throw on some high waisted jeans, My custom MISS MINAJ jordans, A pink crop top, Some hoops, Sun glasses and a pink beanie. My phone goes off.

Me: Hello?

Derek: Hey Nicki!

Me:Hey Derek!

Derek: I'm outside baby girl. C'mon we gotta go!

Me: Don't rush me you ass! I'm coming I'm coming.

Derek: *Muffled laughing*

Me: Pause!!! Ugh You are so childish!

Derek: You said it! Not me!

Me: Here I come!

I hang up and grab my purse. I go outside and see Derek with dark sunglasses,Khaki shorts, Custom Jordans that have pictures of Dopey the Dwarf on them, Crew socks with Dopey the Dwarf on them, A black wife-beater and A snap back to the side with Dopey the dwarf on the front,grinning like a mad man sitting in a lime green camaro with 2 black racing stripes.

He gets out and opens the door for me. I slide in and instantly smell his cologne. He closes the door and goes to the driver side. He gets in and puts on his seatbelt and drives off.

Me: Sooo..Got any kids?

Derek: Nope.

Me: Ex wives?

Derek: Never married.

Me: Engaged?

Derek: I'm faithful so I wouldn't be talking to you if I had a girl at all.

Faithful. Hmm...

Me: Got any crazy exes?

Derek: Uh..

Bingo!

Derek: Yea me and Dev dated these cousins in high school and they stalked us for a year but then they just disappeared.

Me: Oh. Where we going?

Derek: Here.

Me: Here? What do you mean here?

Derek: I mean were here. 

He pointed to my window and I looked outside. It was a Trinidadian Coffee cafe called Bomba's.

Me: Wow I never knew they had this on Cali!

Derek: C'mon!

He gets out and opens the door for me and helps me out the car. He locks the doors and we step into Bomba's. The smells of home hits me to the core. Derek smiles at me and orders cocoa bread and a cocoanut frappechino for both of us. We sit down and surprisingly,No one bothers us. 

Me: So you signed to young money?

Derek: Yeah about 4 years ago.

Me: But how come I never heard of you?

Derek: Oh but you have.

Me: How?

Derek: When I first came, I didn't know english very well. I was in your Right thru me video.

Me: You were?

Then it hits me, There was a dude who was my leading man but I didn't pay him attention. I was trying to get with Safaree back then.

Me: Oh shit I do remember you!

Derek: Yeah...

Me:Awww!  Now I feel guilty!

Derek: No don't it's ok I mean I wouldn't remember a tall guy with a french accent and creepy wolf eyes.

Me: They're not creepy and I love your accent. It's cute.

He smiles at me and I feel my cheeks get hot.

Derek: Nicki I really love spending time with you and I love the way I can talk to you and seeing makes me really happy and......

I drifted off looking into his big beautiful blue eyes. I hardly noticed he was holding my hand.

I think that I want to tell him how I feel but I think it's too early-

Derek: Nicki?

Me:Hmmmm?

Derek: Um I asked you would you like to do this again sometime?

Me: Yes!-I mean Yea cool that's cool.

Derek: Ok let me get you home.

Me: Ok.

We leave and I feel like i'm on cloud 9. Best. First. Date. EVER!!!
