hello & welcome to my first book on my ~pretty~ new account! here, i'll educate you all about bad writing, teach you how to write better, mention clichés to avoid if you want to make a more interesting story, and maybe i'll include the occasional rant about things that just piss me off.
if you have yet to see one of the millions of introductions to myself, you're in luck because i'm doing it again.
my name is bay, i'm eighteen, and i've been writing books/ stories since preschool (i used to have my mom write down what i told her, and then i'd draw the pictures). i dance competitively, do musical theatre, watch hockey or netflix, draw, and play soccer when i'm not writing. i don't know what i'm doing after I graduate high school (maybe psychology?? or business?? art???), but i currently take both psychology and marketing at the college near me. the stars and astrology absolutely fascinate me, and the way to my heart is a good old in n' out double double.
toni topaz (riverdale), bellamy blake, raven reyes (the 100), selina kyle (gotham), blink (ESPECIALLY in the gifted), leo valdez (percy jackson), jace wayland (mortal instruments) and literally all of the avengers are some of my all time favorite fictional characters and i also adore the actors and actresses they're played by. if you message me really good fan fictions involving any of them i will love you forever (or if you have a plot involving them!!! i!!! would!!! love!!! to! write!!!! it!!)
anyways, since i read a lot of books, read a lot on here, and write quite a bit, i figured i'd compile some tips and writing advice, both for writing fan fiction and fiction. i have fallen victim to so many clichés and terrible plot holes and terrible grammar and just bad writing in general, and i hope i'll be able to help all of you write better!
if there's anything specific you want me to teach/talk about feel free to request it here and i'll try to get to it!
