The feeling she got when walking away from Killian was both bitter and sweet, for some reason she had felt the want to stay with him, maybe take his hand and drag him to the table with her but that doesn't make sense to her. Why would she want to be near a man she barely knows, yes he is attractive but usually those types of things aren't important to her. When she got to the table she found Ruby and stood next to her in front of the chair that she was going to sit at.

"I see you're getting close to the prince," Ruby smirks as she leaned over to whisper in her best friend's ear. Emma furrowed her eyebrows and looked over at Ruby in confusion, yeah she was talking with Killian but not- wait. Ruby started to laugh because the blonde had just realized that she was talking to a prince.

"He is not," she turned fully to Ruby and then around the table only to find that he, Killian, was sitting right next to the seats that the King and Queen will be sitting in. She clears her throat and puts on a stoic face as she hears the main doors open and what she sees was breathtaking. The Queen and King walked in looking completely royal arm in arm, she doesn't understand how two people could command a room without even speaking a word.

Over in the seat next to where the King and Queen are headed was Killian except he wasn't watching the two people everyone else was watching, he was looking somewhere unexpected for him and for everyone else. Killian was watching Emma, all he can think about is her now that he's been introduced. He wonders if maybe she is his Emma, she was young when she was taken it's possible that she wouldn't remember because of the trauma. He swallows the lump in his throat in thinking about her, he missed her dearly.

"Hello Killian," Mary Margaret spoke to him as she arrived at his seat. She followed his eye line with curiosity and landed on a beautiful blonde who was looking at her but the moment she connected their eyes the girl looked away. "Who's she, she must be special if you cannot seem to stop looking at her."

Killian scratches behind his ear and shakes his head, "My apologies your majesty." He smiles at the woman who has been a part of his life while he was still in his mother's womb. "It's one of your visitors from America, she seems familiar." His eyes move back to her as he finishes his sentence without even realizing it happened. Mary looked as well and couldn't help but smile, Killian hasn't looked at another woman since their daughter disappeared and it almost made it worse because now two of the people she loves are suffering from the loss and just stuck waiting. David was the other one, he refuses to find an air for the kingdom when they die. The only person he will give his crown to is his little girl, he hasn't stopped looking for her since the day she was taken. Mary took the position of being strong for both of them, she continued her life and made sure the kingdom continued running. She was being selfish doing all the work instead of looking for her daughter, it broke her into a million pieces whenever she thought of her. It was easier to work than to think about the devastation of losing her baby girl, which is the only way she can cope with the loss.

Emma was talking with Ruby and another student that was sitting on the other side of her, she was paying no attention to the rest of the table. If she had looked over at the end where the Queen was talking with Killian she would have been mortified thinking he was telling all those horrible things she said to him.

David stood up after a moment and demanded the attention of everyone in the room by simply clearing his throat, "I'd like to properly welcome our guests and our friends to our home." He smiles as his hand goes to his wife's shoulder as she looks up at him, "you cannot begin to understand how nice it is to have a castle full of young adults who are excited and full of adventure. I hope me and my wife might get to know each of you a bit better, also I hope you all have fun and enjoy the whole castle. I do know a few of you have already begun your exploring," his eyes glance over to Emma and Ruby who both immediately feel the embarrassment all over their faces. "I just ask of you not to go into the west wing, everything else is open to your heart's content." David sat down and took a drink of his wine before turning to his wife who had a sad smile as she leaned in and gave him an appropriate kiss.
