Books and Coffee- David Rossi

You always had a thing for Italian guys. You don't exactly know what it is about them, but you just can't help but like them. You've been with so many Italian guys, you know whether a guy is Italian or not.

You're seated in the window of a nice café, on a sunny, Friday morning. The aroma of coffee wafts nicely throughout the café, giving it a peaceful atmosphere.

Soon enough, the bell to the door rings, and an Italian man walks in, looking around. Seeming content, he goes up to the counter and orders. As he moves to wait for his drink, his warm, brown eyes meet yours. You put your head down, looking at the table.

You wait a few seconds, before looking back to him. He's still there, watching you curiously. You clear your throat and look away, your cheeks flushing pink. You tap your fingers along the edge of the table in anticipation.

Soon enough, a throat clears above you. You look up, meeting the eyes of the Italian. "Mind if I sit here?" He asks. "No. Not at all," you say, avoiding eye contact. He smiles slightly. "Is everything okay? You seem... nervous about something," he asks.

"I'm fine, just not usually the social butterfly," you say. He chuckles. "I understand. So, uh, you got a name? You know, so I can know what to call you?" He asks. You laugh a little. "Yes. I'm (Y/N), and you?" "David," he replies.

"Nice to meet you, David," you say. He nods. "You too. Question; what do you do for a living?" He asks. "I am an author of young adult novels," you say. "Really?" David asks. You nod. "I'm also an author. I write books on psychology and my job," he says. You smile.

"I'll have to check them out," you say. "You do that. Anyway, I've gotta get to work. I'll see you around. It was a pleasure to meet you and your bella faccia," he says. You smile as he leaves. You should really check out his books.
