**3 hours later**
Lily's P.O.V
We were in the waiting room for what seemed like forever when Kareena's doctor came out.It didn't take rocket science to see that he was bringing bad news. Niall was the first to stand up.He was tugging on his roots impatiently and waited to hear what he would say. I could tell that he was trying to be strong but it was noticeable that he wanted to just curl up in a ball and cry.
''How is she doc?"Niall asked with worry plastered all over his face. You could hear how broken he was by his tone.
''...She broke her left arm,her right foot,lost a lot of blood and got a serious concussion''he said taking a long,deep breathe.
''Will she be ok?''I asked
"She is unconscious at the moment and we are keeping her for observations''
''Can we go see her?''I asked
He was skeptical at first but eventually agreed.We found her room and saw her lying on the bed looking worse than what the doctor described her to be.The room was silent and the only thing you could have heard was the machine that was hooked up to Kareena beeping.She had a big cut at the side of her forehead that was stitched up and her arm and leg was in a cast.We all stood by the doorway examining her but not long after I slowly walked up to her bed and gently picked up her hand.I looked to my left to see the boys looking at her not saying a word.
''Don't you worry Kareena,I'm going to find the person who did this to you even if it's the last thing I do''I said to her even though I knew she couldn't hear me.
**40 minutes later**
Dr.Lee,Kareena's doctor,came into the room and said that visiting hours were over but one of us could stay with her so we all agreed that we would do shifts so everyone would get a change to be with her.
**Three days later**
Niall's P.O.V
It's been three freaking days since Kareena has been hospitalized and all they could do is run tests every half hour and come to tell me the same thing every single time."She's responding well to the treatment''they say.Well if that's the case then how come she's not awake yet?I don't know if it's the lack of sleep but I'm really staring to get really freaking pissed right now.
Lily walked in giving me a bag with coffee and a muffin and sat beside me. Even though we agreed on going home to get sleep, I could tell from the bags under her eyes that's not what she's been doing.
"How's she doing?" she asked with hope in her voice
"Well the doctors said she's doing better and she cuts are beginning to heal"
"Still hasn't woken up yet? she said hoping to hear a 'yes' come out of my mouth but all her hopes were shot down when I shook my head.
Lily's shift was beginning to start so she told me I could go but I didn't want to leave. I couldn't risk leaving and something were to happen.
Lily's POV
Not long after Niall left Dr.Lee along with a nurse came in to do their routine check-up on her.
"Any updates doc?" I asked
"Well... I'm happy to say that this time I have more good news than bad. She is responding great to the new treatment and should wake up in a few hours."
"But??"I said eagerly
"But we don't know for sure if she will wake up with any record of what happened on that day or a few days back''
"Thank you very much doc'' I say shaking his hand.
I look down at Kareena and my hopes that were crushed, were now beginning to build back up. I walked to her bed and carefully took up her hand and began to talk to her.
"Hey Kay...It's me,Lily. I just wanted to tell you that everything's gonna be alright. The doctor said you'll wake up in a few hours.I can't wait to be able to talk to you again...These past few days haven't been the same without you,I didn't have to get up in the morning to make you your special breakfast or drag you to the mall to go shopping with me or even have late night conversations when we can't sleep and have a lot on our minds'' I say as tears began to make my vision blurry.
"Everything's not the same without you. Niall's been going crazy ever since he saw you lying on the road. He didn't even want to leave you because he's afraid something bad might happen but anyways the good news is that you're gonna be up in a few and I'm going to get back my best friend in the whole world''

Hi guys I'm back after a long long long wait.I'm truly sorry for making you all wait so so long on the updates. I just had a bad case of writer's block and I was busy with school and all but I back now so there will be chapters coming in some surprise updates as well.:)Anyways hope you all like this chapter even though it was short and could have been better but this was sorta like a filter chapter so I really hope you like it.
