Benjamin brought her in an expensive boutique inside a well-known mall. She didn't expect that. Yeah, she demanded a new clothes to wear because the blouse that she was wearing was already dirty, but she never expected that he would spend a considerable amount of money for her. He didn't need to. A decent blouse was enough to meet her demand.

"Please help her shop for her wardrobe," Benjamin told the salesgirl who quickly went to assist them.

"Of course, sir!" the salesgirl enthusiastically replied. She even bowed her head a little and looked at her with a pleasant smile on her face. "This way, Ma'am," she guided her to a rack that was teeming with expensive dresses.

Maru tried to check the beautiful dresses. They were really nice, but every time she checked the price tag, she would silently wince. The expensive prices overwhelmed her. Too much, she thought.

"This suits you, Ma'am." The salesgirl flashed her a dress which had a sexy cut. It was shapely, which would showcase her figure for sure, and the length was just above her knees - not too long, not too short either.

She liked the color of the dress, a lively navy blue that compliment her skin complexion, but the price tag was more than five grand. Ouch!

She would never spend that much money for a dress alone. It was crazy! But well, she wouldn't pay for the dress anyway, she told herself and shrugged her shoulders. She had Benjamin to shoulder the expenses.

"Just choose anything you like, Maru. Money is not an issue..."

She jolted when he talked by her side. He was just beside her, closely watching, as the salesgirl helped her choose a dress.

He must have seen her hesitation whenever she checked the price tags of the dresses the salesgirl showed her.

Well, good for her. She wouldn't have second thoughts anymore in choosing the dress she liked regardless of its price. Should she say no to grace? Of course not! This kind of opportunity could only knock once so she just better grab it.

She secretly smirked at the thought. Hmmnn... why not?

She turned around to face him. "Are you sure?" she asked, peering at him with her doubtful eyes.

"Of course!" he quickly answered.

"Even if I'll choose the most expensive dress in this store?" she asked again. The cock of her brows was skeptical. Well, she needed to be sure that he wasn't only fooling around. She would face embarrassment if ever.

"Yep," he answered casually. "It's okay, Maru. I won't mind, really, even if you'll buy all the clothes in this store." There was a glint of naughtiness in his eyes when he spoke, making the cute slant of his eyes turn even narrower.

"Wow! What a boastful man!" She made a face.

He just chuckled as if amused.

What if she would buy all the dresses in the store like he said? For sure this boastful man would break sweat. The thought was so tempting that she grabbed the opportunity to see him got served.

"Okay, I'll buy all the clothes in this store then. They have beautiful dresses that I can't pick just one. I want them all in my wardrobe closet." She pretended to be so serious when she said that, looking closely at Benjamin's face for the kind of reaction her boldness would elicit from him.

She expected that he would sweat profusely, but he just shrugged his broad shoulders, as if he didn't mind, really.

The sales girl's jaw dropped to the floor. She gave Benjamin a concerned look. "Sir?"
