Everyone was really on Facebook nowadays.
Maru shook her head as she looked at Benjamin's Facebook profile. There were a bunch of users named Benjamin Lam on Facebook, but she easily found his personal account. His profile picture caught her attention while she scanned the list that popped up after typing his name in the search bar.
He looked eye popping in his selfie profile pic. He was smiling in the camera and looking so boyishly handsome as he flashed an expensive brand of coffee in his hand - the famous Coffee Best.
The company didn't need to hire models to advertise the product. The heir himself could nail the job. Benjamin was already thirty-two yet he looked as if he was still in his twenties, but the bulge in his muscled biceps and the ripped body that was evident in his black, body-hugging tee indeed belonged to a full grown man and not a boy.
She could look at him all day without getting gagged up. It was a good thing that she could stalk his profile without his knowledge. Thanks to the anonymous browsing feature of Facebook.
His account was private. She could only see his profile pic. His lone cover photo was a logo of Coffee Best.
She had to add him as a friend in order to see more of his profile. But she couldn't add him. No, she won't. After their encounter two days ago, she need not make a move that would change his impression of her, that she was never the easy type.
She knew women were just an easy prey to him. He got the looks and the money to boot. With his status and caliber, women knowingly gravitate to him.
But she believed that women should maintain respect among themselves by not acting like easy to get sluts, that men should earn women the hard way, and that women should not just fall freely at men's feet.
Men loved a hard chase, so they say, and that was what she was banking at. That's why she acted cool when their paths collided.
Maybe if it was a different woman in her position when she met Benjamin, for sure she already grabbed the opportunity to flirt with him.
Well, not her. She wouldn't do that. She would never boost his ego.
Anyways, she wasn't in a hurry. She could take all the time in the world to get to know Benjamin better. But for now, she could start infiltrating his Fb by adding his contacts to create a connection between them.
Smiling, she clicked his friend's list. He had a lot of friends on Fb. More than four thousand. Most of them were lovely and sexy women with really eye candy profile photos. If they're not donning a bikini on their profile photos, they're flashing their ample cleavage.
She could only shake her head. Benjamin was really a chic boy, huh. His taste in women was obvious.
She was sure as hell that he didn't intimately knew all of his freaking four thousand Fb friends, that almost three-fourths of them were basically strangers. And, yes, she could also guess the percentage of women he may have dated or may have hooked up with.
She felt a sting in her heart, but she threw it away. She continued stalking Benjamin's Facebook profile.
She looked for his closest friends and family members and added them. If they accepted her friend's request, her profile would show up in Benjamin's Facebook for people he may know. That way, he would see her Facebook account. And who knows what would happen next.
She couldn't help but smile. It had been two days since she met Benjamin, but she still couldn't take him off her mind. The memory was still fresh in her imagination.
She could still picture out his boyish smile - how his eyes would slant in cuteness, and how his lips would curve in a refreshing smirk.
She sighed. Forgetting a man like Benjamin was surely a hard thing to do.
