The Birth Of A Monster

(POV) D

"JUST KILL ME YOU BLOOD SUCKING MONSTER" My father's crys could be heard through the thin doors that separated us. The monster he screemed at already killed my mother.

I couldn't see, but I knew I was behind where the door would open, it was in the darkest corner of the room.

My fathers screams came to a silent end.

He is dead.

My heartbeat quickened as I heard the door open. The monster entered the room.

"Oh come now, my prey." He said in his smooth voice. I'd have thought he was charming had I not known what he was. "I know where you are. I can hear your heart beating."

I was yanked from the corner and thrown to the floor.

My arms were unbound and retied in front of me, then I was lifted up and hung on a hook that held me up by my wrists. My body swayed from side to side.

My blindfold fell off as the creature cut it. I almost gasped as I saw his face.

His eye changed back to green with a bright red center.

He took out a napkin and wiped his face, clearing my parents blood.

"Out of your parents..... Your mother was the biggest pain. So, I'd suggest not trying to get away." He said in a smooth tone.

I would have thought he was a gentleman had he not been what he was.

A Monster.

"Now that's not a vary nice thing to think." He gave me a hurt expression.

At my confusion, he smiled again. "You didnt know Vampires could read thoughts? Tsk tsk. I'd have learned if I was you." He shook his head, as if he was disappointed.

"Now, if you don't mind, its time for my fun."

He pressed his cold claws into my skin, making me scream. placing a bucket under me to catch my blood, he ripped into my chest. I screamed and pleaded for mercy as he continued. he gagged me to shut me up.

"Shut it. I will not spare some weak brats life."

the torture lasted for hours. I couldn't scream as blood ran down my body from open wounds. the pain was awful. when will it end?

Soon, he stopped. The vampire took the gag out of my mouth and smirked. "Now for the best part." He bit into my neck, making me screech. I felt my blood being drained. When he let go, the bite began to burn. The burning spread through what blood I had left, making me squirm and scream louder. 

I fell to the floor as my restraints broke. I couldn't move. I couldn't breathe. All I could do was feel my heartbeat slow as the Vampire put me in a body bag and tossed me into the woods, laughing.

I felt no pain as I hit trees and landed halfway in a river. I knew I was dying. I knew I was dead as I closed my eyes, waiting to see my parents.

I opened my eyes. Something was different. everything was different. I was still in the body bag, but the zipper was broken, allowing me to get out. 

As I stood, I felt stronger. No wounds were on my arms, legs, or chest. I was brand new. running a hand on my chest to check for injuries, I felt muscle under my skin. I was slightly dizzy.

I started walking home, or, at least I thought it was home. I just went where my instincts were telling me. 

After feeling ready to pass out, a deer walked by. I remember my mind going foggy, my sight blurred. all I can remember clearly was the warm feeling of a liquid going down my throat. I felt even stronger then I had. when my senses came back, the deer was laying on the ground.

with its neck broken.

I stepped back and looked into a small pond near me. I was stunned to see the bloody face of a vampire staring back at me, her eyes black. I splashed the image but it remained. it was me. I was that reflection. its eyes faded back to mine.

I got up and ran. there was nowhere I could go. I was a monster now. I couldn't go home. I couldn't go anywhere. I had to live amongst monsters.

I Was One Of These Creatures.  Doomed To An Eternity Of Nothing But Darkness.
