Star Love Note

Chapter 5 :Claire?

Well my boyfriend has told me my writing was confusing so i'll work on that ~. So here is the next chapter.

          Claire came over to me and Dereck, and smiled. Dereck looked towards me whispering, "Umm...why is she here?".

I shrugged my shoulders and stared at Claire, who in fact was drooling all over herself while looking at my MAN! 

When she noticed my eyes on her ,she quickly snapped and came closer to me. We stared at each other for awhile, when finally she said, "Look Kimmii i didn't mean to slap you in the face,it was just, that I, well to start you didn't come at the time you always came and I was feeling sad about my family and once I saw you my brain took over and I slapped you."

I kept staring at her then I looked to Dereck who was giving me the look of confusion but i shot back the, "I don't think that is the truth" look at him and he started to laugh. His laughter caused Claire to look striaght at him. He glanced at her and stopped laughing immedietly. She looked back to me in confusion, "Kimmii, do you belive me?". 

I answered with a lie, "Of course i believe you. I just didn't like how you came striaght up and slapped me without saying much also adding that you didn't talk to me till now."

She had a guilty expression and look to Dereck who gave her a "I'm sorry", look.

Weirdly, Dereck asked, "Are you sure, that you did not slap my girl because of me? I know that you are one of the girls who like me, so it is a possblity. And if that is so you would be lying right now about a family problem."

She smiled and shook head, "There is one thing to add. Yes I did like you but I now have a boyfriend who I love and Kimmii I really don't care if she took one of my past crushes. So it's all good."

           After Claire's whole apology, half of me believed her  and the other half did not. I was confused. Claire spent 2 hours at my house chatting with me and Dereck. She kept eyeing up Dereck. I'm not sure if i was imagining or it. After we chatted she left saying, " Let's hang out tomorrow after school, like let's have a double date", leaving without a reply from me. So i had no choice but to hang out tomorrow. 

            "Finally! She is gone!", Dereck blurted out without any care. 

"Sheesh, isn't that harsh", i said with a little giggle.

"Nah, she is your friend, not mines. Until i get to know her more better I won't talk like this. All I know is that she used to like me and I absoultly think she was faking earlier."

I looked at him, "Well, I see someone is a bit cocky."

He stared and picked me up, putting my tummy on his shoulder and my face facing the back.

"Now Kimmii, I know she is cocky for her ag-", i cutted him off, "Oh Dereck, you know who i'm talking about, so put me down now".

He began walking over to my room, "Kimmii, sorry I can't put you down, I'm too lazy".

I began to fake cry and that was when he put me down and looked at me. I pretended to wipe my eyes and the looked at him sadly, "D-Dereck....just kidding!", i laughed and ran into my room shutting and locking the door.

I heard him say, "Dang it!", but after all that it got silent. I didn't want to open the door because I knew that he might come in, so i waited and waited. 

           Hours and hours passed without hearing Dereck's voice. It has been a total of three hours, yes ,I made him stay out there for three hours. Maybe I was being a bit cruel. Ok, ok i was being cruel, but I didn't think he would be upset. So i slowly unlocked the door and noticed Dereck was not here. I was frightened, i had no idea why but i was. I walked around the house calling for him, still no answer. 

"Come on Dereck, I'm sorry i locked you out of my room, but I didn't know you would take it this bad". 

Still no answer from him. I walked outside the house and saw a note on the floor. It read:

Hi Kimmii, that was very mean of you to lock me out. But it's all good. Kimmii go in your house and down the tunnel there should be another note for you in the tunnel. 

With so much love for you, Dereck.

Well that was unexpected and weird. I did exactly what he asked me too and I was now in the tunnel, looking for the note that he had put in here. I continued to walk deeper in the tunnel with my flashlight, flashing around to see where the note was. I then saw candles, making a small pathway for me to only find a table and a box ontop of it, saying "Open me". I slowly open it up and see the note but in the box was not only the note there was a bracelet that read, "I love you Kimmii,from Dereck". Instantly i felt my cheeks get hot. The design of the bracelet was the color of gold and it had stars engraved into it. The bracelet made me think if it was expensive. I opened the note to find a drawing in the top right hand corner of me. It made me feel loved that he would give me a bracelet and draw a little picture of me. On the letter it said:

Hey Kimmii, it's Dereck again. Did you like my present you recieved from me? Well I hope you did. If you didn't I can change it for you. Oh and don't worry how much it cost, my friend's mom did it and she only charged me a little. And yes it is actual gold. You are special to me Kimmii. I freaking love you. Well you are almost there just follow the candles to the river. See you soon.

Dereck~. 

Oh my gosh!!!!!!! Holy salt! Dereck is so sweet. I smiled and walked through the pathway of candles, finding Dereck standing near the river. He didn't seem to notice me. As I was quietly walking towards him, I saw Claire dashing up from the hill and down to him, covering his eyes. 

           I stood there, in shock. What was she doing? I knew I shouldn't have believed her. I continued to watch as I saw Dereck grab her arm and turn around to face her. What was he going to do. I saw him lean in towards her and flicked her forehead. W-What I...I thought he was going to kiss her but i guess he didn't. He looked to where i was and winked at me and I instantly blushed again. The freaking teaser. He looked back at Claire and his face expression changed. His lips turned into a frown and his eyes turned somewhat dark. 

I started to walk towards them, i whispered, "D-Dereck". He came to me and brought Claire with him, making her look at me. I looked striaght into her eyes, which she seemed sad and mostly angry. 

             The whole hour was full of slience until she ran off without a single word. I tried to chase after but Dereck grabbed me by my waist pulling me back to him and holding me close. 

"Kimmii, tonight is our night plus she betrayed you and you saw it.", he looked down at me and kisses my forehead sloftly.

"I know I shouldn't feel bad for her but she has been my friend for a long time so it's hard to think bad about her.", i turned around to look at him and our eyes locked. He leaned down to brush his lips over mines and softly peck it.

He stopped, "Kimmii, i respect your decision but just be careful around her ok?" I nodded and hugged him tightly.

           We held hands and sat down by the river, cuddling like most couples do. I felt his head on my shoulder; looking over i see his eyes closed and what to expect? He is sleeping. I wonder how long we are going to stay out here? I slowly move his head down to my lap and smile. He looks so cute when he sleeps. 

             It was 1 am in the morning and i found myself sleeping on Dereck's lap. I look up to see that he was staring back at me and smile. He stroked my head and picked me up carrying me back to my bedroom where he put me down on my bed. He laid down next to me and kissed my cheek, immedietly going to sleep.

            The thing with Claire kept boggling my mind. I stayed awake thinking of how I could i have had a friend like that. For so many years being with Claire and then she turns on me. But it is my fault taking the guy she used to love. But she had a boyfriend so i thought she was completly over him. This is so confusing to me.
