"You love me?" He went up to me.
"Yes, do you love me?" Carter went towards the court. He was smiling
"Love you too" Amir walked out. I dont remember giving him a key. He walked up to me.
"Carter get ready" He looked back at us.
"For what I was gonna go hang out with Kevin" Kevin looked at me then Amir. Amir looked at Kevin with the stare.
"Come on" He stood next to Kevin. "Carter you know you my son. You got my last name you look just like me so you all with this mixed dude so Imma tell you one more time come on"
"You don't act like I'm your son. When do you see me? Maybe once a week but I see him almost everyday. All you want to do is come enough so it would seem like your a good dad and your not so you can leave"
Amir literally picked him up by his ear and dragged him in the house. I felt bad for him I went after him. "Let Me go" He did. "Fuck You" I swear I never in my life heard him talk like that. He's my little boy he talks like a grown ass man.
I swear Amir was about to kill that little boy. Carter got his stuff and left.. I was feeling some type of way. Kevin stayed at the house. Me and Amir went to look for him. "How you been?" He asked. I looked down and then at him. He waited for me to say something.
"Good, what about you" I ask
"I missed you."
"Amir please don't start" I say "All that we went through. Doesn't it seem like every time we together bad things happen" He sighed and took my hand.
"I know I hurt you a lot but I've changed so much after that. I know you don't love that Kevin kid you just with him for Carter. Why can't we be together for Carter" We found him with his friends. I walked over to him...
"Carter you gotta apologize to your dad" He laughed.
"Momma I'm tired of him disrespecting us.. OMG ma I love you too much you know what when I get home I want it to be just me and you like it used to be. Kevin's gonna break your heart just like my dad"
"Carter you don't make rules. I know you want it just to be us but sometimes it can't be like that."
6 Months Later
I was waiting on Amir too come get Carter. He said he would be here by 11.,He got here around 10:45. "Early"
He smiling right hard. "How you doing?"
"Good.. CARTERR.!!!!" He came down and gave me a hug.They left I was by myself. Kevin was coming over later since he's free this week. About 3 hours later he came over. "Hey Baby" I swear I missed him. I haven't seen him in a few weeks. He sat down
"Hey Baby girl" I got next to him. "How you been?"
"Good you?"
"I can't sit here and smile in your face and say everything's OK. I'm so sorry" I stood up.
"What the hell you do?"
"You remember Hallie" Omg I know he didn't
"I cheated and I'm so sorry.. I messed up so bad. I messed with her and she says she's pregnant. But she was messing with someone so Idk.. IM SORRY" I couldn't hear it anymore. I pushed him.out he sat at the door. "Please let me in" I sat on the other side. I thought I loved him. I can't say that I don't anymore. Idk what I should do. He was the love of my life. I opened the door.
He put his arms around me. "I'm sorry" he was crying as hard as he could. "I know sorry isn't enough but I can make it up to you"
the next morning
I was feeling some type of way.. I was on my bed and looked over. it was Amir. I'm wondering why in hell is he laying next to me just laying there. I woke him up.
"Amir why you in my bed?" He sat up. Gave me a kiss on my cheek.
"Good Morning"He got up. I was thinking about Kevin cheated. He knew it was over after last night. But I still don't get why he's laying here. He came back in and laid back down. "You want anything to eat"
"Yeah thanks" He gave me another kiss before he left. I'm in total shock. He put clothes on and went to get us something. Carter came in.
"Hey momma, Lance and August coming over later staying the night."
"Yep" I started to get up clean up. I saw a condom in the trash. "WHAT THE HELL did we do?" I can't remember anything. Did I drink something. Amir came back with something to eat. "what did we do last night?"
"Last Night I found u in your bed sleep. You woke up saw me and you just went crazy. we did sleep together."
"I see that" I went in the kitchen. He grabbed my arm.
"Was it wrong?" Hr smiled.
