Chapter 7- The teams

Beast's POV

Unlike everyone else, i was just eating my own food, since i'm technically one of an unknown kind of species.

Dennis's POV

I was sitting next to my girl, Julie, and that made me feel safe. "Ahhh~" She sang and told me to open my mouth so she could feed me ice cream. I did what she told me to and boy the ice cream was delicious! How did Loleris cook all of this? I looked around the table to see what others were doing. Billy and Drew were drinking bloxy cola and mountain dew respectively, while telling jokes to Duke and Jack, making them laugh. Tom was speaking with Summer, Adriel and Lara were playing card games, Red and Beast were talking to Kat and Helen respectively, Flinn, Anna, Peter, and Martin were all looking at a video on Martin's tablet. And of course, i was with Julie. "All right everyone, let's go to the room with the round table!" Loleris said, and we all followed him to the room he said we should go to. I sat in one of the seats, and everyone else did also. Loleris pressed the button in the middle of the table, and the glass area of the table divided up into twenty sections, each one with our name on it. 

Chazz's POV

I was sitting nervously, and then suddenly, a glass arrow appeared inside the glass area of the table. "Now, time to pick teams." Loleris said. "Firstly.. Blue team." He said. He pushed the button in the center of the table, and the glass arrow began to spin. The arrow.. landed on Helen's name. Loleris got a whiteboard and wrote Helen's name under the Blue team column. He pushed the button again, making the arrow spin again. I realised Helen's name went from black to blue, meaning she is in the blue team. It landed on Peter. Helen gave a smile and a wink at Peter, and Peter grinned, he's lucky he's with one of his best friends. 

Duke's POV

I watched the arrow spin, and eventually it landed on me. Loleris wrote down my name in the blue team column, and pushed the button again. This time it landed on Jack. Loleris continued writing. "Let's move on to some red team members, shall we?" He asked. We nodded, since we did not want this to be over so soon. We wanted to find out who was with who, so we had preparation time. Loleris pushed the button and it landed on Drew. Under the red team column, he wrote down Drew's name. He pushed the button again, and it landed on Summer. He continued writing. The names of the said people in each team turned to the team colour they are in on the table. (Jack's name turned blue because he is in blue team... etc) He pushed the button again, and this time it landed on Adriel. Loleris wrote his name down, and his name turned red on the table. 

Lara's POV

I bit my lip nervously as Loleris pushed the button again. The arrow surprisingly landed on me. My name on the table turned red. "Back to blue team." He said. The button got pushed again, and it landed on Chazz this time. Once again, the button got pushed and this time it landed on Anna. "To red." He announced. The button, being pushed, landed on Julie. I looked at my sister with a smile on my face. She looked back at me the same way. Loleris spun the wheel again, and it landed on Red. "To blue." He announced. I looked around the table and realised there were only 8 people left. Harry, Beast, Flinn, Billy, Kat, Dennis, Tom, and Martin. The button, got pushed again. The arrow landed on Billy. And again.... This time it landed on Flinn. Flinn gave Anna a side hug, and Anna held his hand. 

Adriel's POV

"Red team now." Loleris said again. This time, the arrow landed on Martin. And again... The arrow landed on Tom. Summer looked at Tom, slightly blushing, and Tom gave her a thumbs up. Tom's name on the table turned in red, as well as Martin's. "Blue." Loleris told us. The arrow landed on Harry. Chazz looked at Harry, a grin forming on her face. "Red." Loleris said again. I looked around and there were three people left. Beast, Kat, and Dennis. "Julie was clutching on Dennis's arm for the best of luck. The arrow started spinning again, and it landed on.. Kat. I could see that Red was happy that she was on the same team as him.

Anna's POV

The last two.. Dennis and Beast. Whatever happens, i'll be fine. Loleris pushed the button one last time, and the arrow started spinning, all eyes were on it. The arrow landed at Dennis, and his name turned Red. I noticed Julie giving him a hug, squealing in delight. "That leaves Beast to the blue team!" He announced. We got up from our chairs and waited for Loleris's instructions. "Uhm- Now, you will get together with your team, and form a group name, as well as pick a group leader. You may do any thing else if you wish. Meet back here at 6:00pm." He instructed.

Dennis's POV

I got together with my team and we headed to the red lounge. "So... Hey guys!" I tried to start the conversation. "Hello!" Lara and Julie said. "Ayee!" Kat said. "Yo." Said a voice that belonged to Red. "Sup bro." Duke greeted. "Ey bud!" Adriel called to me. "Hey." Tom said. Summer and Martin just waved. "So. We need to choose a team leader." I heard Tom say. "Hm.. Dennis should be the leader!" Julie suggested. "Wha- Why me? I'm NOT doing it." I said honestly. "Adriel should be it.. i think?" Lara suggested. "No no no no no no no. I'm terrible." Adriel denied. "Guys! I think Red should be the leader, we are in the RED team after all." Duke suggested. "Uh..." Red's voice trailed off. "I call dibs for Red being the group leader." Summer started. "Agreed!" Adriel said and joined Summer. "You know, that's a good idea." Tom nodded his head. Soon, we all agreed that Red should be our group leader. "Well.. we need a group name." Julie told us. "Red any ideas?" She asked him.

Kat's POV 

I noticed Red was staring at the ground, thinking of what to say. "Auhm. Red here needs some time to think about our wonderful team name, and he wants to have some time thinking about it... I'm sure he could come up with a wonderful name!" I said while putting on a small smile. "Hm.. i guess you are right." Tom finally said. 

Red stood up, and grabbed my wrist, and pulled me out of the door with him, and shut it behind him. "R-Red? What's Wrong?" I asked. He sighed and started. "Kat. Look. It's just hard being a leader again without my gang." I looked at him while listening to his explanation. I felt part of my heart break when he said that. I hated seeing him depressed. "D-Don't worry. I'll go through this with you." I said weakly. There was a moment of silence.

Red's POV

"You don't understand." I said after a long while. "Red..." Kat said weakly, and i could see tears rolling down her cheeks. "Red... I-I...." I heard her whisper as i felt her lost grip on my hand, and i barely managed to catch her as she fell in my arms. 

I started carrying her in bridal style back to our lounge. As i was walking back with her, i thought about a good name for our team. After having a long thought about my childhood and how i grew up, and some of the most important things and places that have importance and meaning to me, i finally came up with a good name. 

I opened the door to the red team lounge and announced. "Uhm, i have came up a name for our team." I said, Kat still in my arms. "Uh... Is Kat okay?" Dennis asked. "Right. She's a little weak right now, so she'll rest and i'll let you guys know when she's up." I assured him and the others, then put Kat down on the sofa. "Sleep tight kitty." I muttered quietly, making sure no one could hear me. "The team name?" Tom asked. "Right. Our team name is... The Crimson Gang." I said confidently. "Dude that's a great name!" Duke commented. "Mhm, sounds good to me." Adriel agreed. "Whatever." Martin said carelessly. "Um.. Why not?" Lara peeped. "Crimson's a nice colour." Julie agreed. "Yeah, same as what Julie said." Dennis said while pointing to Julie. "So do we all agree?" Tom asked us. "Except for Kat, we're all in." Replied Adriel. "Job done guys! Let's take a break." Tom told us.
