We arrived in Hangang Park 15 minutes later. I jumped out of his car and ran towards the river. It was spring time but the weather was nice and warm.
"This is the Hangang River, lovely isn't it?" He started saying.
"Ah." I was interested.
"Would you like to cycle around the place? They rent bikes here." He asked.
"YES!" I said happily
We went to rent a bike. Everyone here seemed to know him and they greeted them. He greeted them back. There were not many people here today.
"Do you know how to ride one?" He asks while smirking.
"Of course I do!" I said and rolled my eyes.
We hopped on our bikes and went around the place. I could feel the wind blowing against my face while i was cycling. I stopped when I saw a beautiful aisle with blossom trees on each side, lining up perfectly.
Namjoon's POV
I was watching Mai as she was cycling. Her hair was flowing through the air and her eyes were sparkling every time I looked at her.
Her smile was the most precious thing I've ever seen. It felt like time was slowing down and all I heard was my heart beat. Fast.
We stopped by an aisle with blossom trees in each side. She looked really happy. I went to the top of the aisle. I started running down the aisle. She chased after me.
"Namjoon!" She shouted.
We were both laughing. She tried to catch up with me but i was too fast for her.
Once I was at the bottom I turned around. I saw her coming. I put my arms around her. I hugged her tightly. That wasn't suppose to happen but it did. She got a shock and tried to let go but I didn't. I didn't know why. Time started to slow down again and all I heard was my heart beating again.
I looked at her straight in the eye. They were starting to sparkle again.
I went closer and closer, to the point were our nose where touching. Suddenly I heard a scream. It was just a child chasing after a bird. We let go. I rubbed the back of my head and she stared at the floor.
Mai's POV
I didn't know what just happened. Silence and awkwardness fell between us.
"Let's go." I finally say.
"Ok, I'll just return these bikes." He says.
I run back to his car and get inside. My heart was beating fast. I was taking deep breaths.
"Calm down heart, calm down."I said to myself.
I took one last deep breath . I was finally calm and my heart was beating at its original pace.
I saw Namjoon coming towards the car and I look down again. He sat there for a few seconds before starting the engine.
"Where do y-" He was about to say something.
I knew what he was about to say.
"Let's go home." I interrupted.
"Okay." He frowned.
