Mai's POV
It was morning. I was getting ready for work. Namjoon was still asleep so I had to be really quiet.I entered the bathroom to take a quick shower.
In the corner of my eye I saw something crawling on the walls of the shower. It was a cockroach and I hated cockroaches.
I screamed. I ran out of the bathroom still wet. I tripped over a pair of shoes and landed in Namjoon's arms. He looked more shocked than I did.
"What's wrong?!?!" He asks.
"THERE'S A COCKROACH IN THE BATHROOM. A BIG ONE."
"You're such a baby, it's just a harmless bug."
The cockroach crawled out of the bathroom. I screamed and jumped onto Namjoon. He fell over and I landed on top of him.
"Wh- What are you doing..?"
It took a few seconds for me to notice that I was still naked, and my towel was about to fall off.
There was a knock on the door. It was Namjoon's friends. I quickly got up and ran back into the bathroom.
Namjoon's POV
I sat up and coughed a little. I was really shocked, and i was unable to move.
'We're coming in!' Jimin shouted.
They each walked in, laughing and messing with each other. Hoseok and Taeyhung found me sitting on the floor.
'What are you doing on the floor ?' Hoseok asked.
Taeyhung bent down. 'Your shirt's wet too.'
The rest walked in and gave me the 'wtf' look. They all started whispering and laughing. I finally came back to my senses and stood up. I walked over to the kitchen to get a glass of water.
They followed behind me in silence.
'Hyung, did something happen?' Jungkook asked.
'Hm? Uh..no.' I replied innocently.
They didn't seem to believe me but decided to let it slide.
'Do you know the girls we were talking about the other day?' Jimin asked.
'Yeah.' I replied unbothered.
'They want to meet up with us today!!' Jungkook squealed in excitement.
'And they said they're bringing their other friend too.' Yoongi winked.
'Cool.' I said without interest
Suddenly Mai walked out from the bathroom. We all became silent and the house was filled with awkwardness. She walked over to the fridge and got some banana milk.
'I forgot she was staying here.' Hoseok whispered.
She exited the kitchen and walked to the living room.
'That was so awkward, I almost suffocated.' taeyhung said while taking taking deep breaths.
The boys wanted to leave so I gladly escorted them.
'Remember to show up ok? Moon Cafe at 3pm TODAY.' Jimin exclaimed.
'Okay, okay I got it.' I said while pushing them out.
'See you!!' They shouted while waving goodbye.
I closed the door in relief. I looked at the time. It was 1:30pm. Suddenly Mai walked out of the living room. She was dressed in casual clothing.
'Going somewhere..?' I asked.
'Yeah, I'm meeting up with some new friends.' she replied.
It was silent for a few seconds. We both avoided each other's eyes.
I finally broke the silence. 'The thing that happened earlier-'
'Oh? That.. sorry, I overreacted over a small bug.' she said without hesitation.
'It's fine.' I smiled.
She looked at her watch.
'Oh, Well I better go, see you later.' she says quickly.
She puts on her shoes and leaves the house in a hurry.
