It's been happening for a while now, at first it didn't dawn on me that my boss's behaviour was anything out of the ordinary, it is my first, I guess you can say, proper job (besides working in a cafe) and I was really excited to own my own yearly salary for the first time in my life.
I wanted to, and still do want to, show Jin that I'm not dating him for money and a place to stay but for his amazing personality, charms and talent that he has.
I remember my boss being overly touchy with all of his female employees but he seemed to target me who happens to be younger, by quite a lot, of years than the others who normally keep to themselves quite a bit. I didn't really have any friends at the company or, rather, didn't have enough time to interact with the other employees because of the work he piled and set for me, causing me to stay behind later and alone in a room where there was normally thirty people working.
The first incident happened a few months ago when I was forced to stay late alone, in a large room, due to my boss giving me a large amount of work with a little amount of time to do it.
I remember my boss coming into the room asking how I was, he stood behind me and leaned over my shoulder looking closely at the computer telling me what to press. He soon sat besides me still looking at the computer pointing things out that I should change, he started to point to a particular set of data on the screen but abruptly stopped, then, placed his hand on my upper thigh, not at all appropriate for his position.
I remember being in a state of shock and confusion, I froze stunned as he then started to rub my inner thigh while he moved my hair behind my shoulder and came close to my neck, I felt his hands getting dangerously close to my private area and I pushed his hands away but stayed in the same position afraid that I would loose my job. He gets up, looks at me again licking his lips then strolls out of the room.
My hands became shaky and things carried on like this for months and made me feel disgusted with myself but also made me quite distant from Jin, he was working on his comeback with Steve Aoki and had just come back from the AMA's, resting in our apartment that we own together.
I started to eat less and became less interested in things that I used to enjoy like going out with friends or going out with Jin. I just don't feel like it any more and I think Jin has noticed, he comes home quite late at night and normally slips into our bed and back hugs me.
I remember having to cover up the bruises left by my boss with make-up that I had bought from a face paint store in town.
Things have gotten worse. He started to call me in frequently into his office and things took a turn for the worse when he kissed and groped me without my permission, which I would never give anyway.
I scan my ticket in the Seoul subway, late at night, and make my way onto a train ready to start my journey back to Jin's apartment. Today my boss had been especially bad, more work, more humiliation in front of my co-workers and more unwanted attention from him.
I quickly make my way out of the subway, luckily our apartment wasn't too far from the station, and I stumble through the door. I trip over shoes that had been left in the doorway and I look around in confusion. I suddenly smell (favourite food) and I'm instantly reminded of good memories, I quickly follow the scent and I'm led to the dining room where I see Jin standing in front of a single table with two meals laid on white place mats.
