'I will be over there in a sec' I text frantically into my phone then prod the 'send' button, I'm planning to surprise (ish) Jungkook in his studio a few minutes from now but of course Mother Nature just had to get in the way.
I fling open my draw and watch as a few miscellaneous objects fly out onto the floor, I sigh dramatically in defeat and rustle around more until I found my pads/tampons at the back of the cabinet, clean of course. I hurry out of my bedroom and into the bathroom placing the pad/tampon in the right position, I gather my things together and chuck them into a small bag that I randomly found in my bedroom a few weeks ago.
I shove some snacks into another plastic bag, just incase we both get hungry, or the other members want something to eat. I debate on what flavour of chocolate I should get but I settle for the normal milk chocolate that we both really like. I know I must sound really crazy but since I don't have a lot of family in Seoul, things are a little dull without anyone around.
I'm out the door quicker than ever before, I haven't seen Jungkook in ages due to his schedule and over seas promotions, it gets pretty lonely in our apartment alone and so we often FaceTime or message each other to pass the time, I can't wait to just hug him, cheesy I know.
I hold my hood up as the rain and wind hit my body, I shiver uncontrollably until I reach the comforts of the BigHit building, I follow my usual route to his studio and pass multiple members on the way, we have all become quite close since I met Jungkook and I think of them as the brothers that I always wanted.
I knock three times on black door that led to his studio and I hear some movement before a bare faced Jungkook pops out from behind.
"(Y/n) you're here, I wasn't expecting you" He says with his bunny smile, he laughs cutely and opens the door wider revealing more of his studio.
"Didn't you get my text?" I question, he looks at me a little confused but then he gives me an apologetic look.
"Sorry, I haven't switched it on yet, practice only finished a few minutes ago" He says sadly but his thoughts seem to be somewhere else.
I giggle "It's okay, I have brought snacks, I thought you might need them" I state waving the rather full bag in front of his face, his eyes seem to light up and he fist bumps the air.
"I'm playing Overwatch right now, could I really quickly finish this game?" He asks biting his lip, I smile and follow him in, sitting down comfortably on the chair next to him. I'm perfectly happy just watching him play, he really deserves a break and it also gives me some time to clear my head.
I watch as he stares intently at the screen and laugh when he does a little victory dance, I congratulate him multiple times and we continue to talk through some of the games. I feel a wave of cramps come over me and I grab the side of his desk, near his keyboard, for support, I curl my hands trying to take away the pain.
Luckily Jungkook doesn't notice and I continue to watch him enjoy his free time, he scores another one hundred points and he throws his arms up in victory. I give him a weak smile and put my thumbs up, his eye brows knot slightly.
"You okay?" He asks slightly worried "We can do something else if you want" He offers pausing the game and hovering his mouse over 'exit'.
"I'm fine" I give him a, what I call, convincing smile "I really enjoy watching you play, keep going" He looks at me again trying to read my eyes but he gives up and presses 'play' again. I wince slightly as the pain gets worse, a lot worse, the type that makes you want to curl up into a ball and disappear. That type of cramp. I feel tears well up in my eyes, I also get other period symptoms like: headaches, muscle aches and sometimes even vomiting, I really don't want any of that happening.
"I'm just going to the toilet quickly" I say as my voice cracks at the end, I dab my finger under my eye in search of any tears that might have fallen.
"Do you want me to wait outside?" He offers standing up to walk me out.
"It's alright, I will see you back in here in a few minutes" I say, my voice sounding rather weak and in pain, I shuffle out the door and into the one stall ladies toilet. I lock myself in an wait a few seconds trying to calm my stomach, thank god hardly anyone is in this late at night.
"(Y/n) are you sure you're okay?" Jungkook's soft voice comes from the other side of the door, I smile weakly and respond slowly.
"Yeah I just-" I pause collecting my thoughts.
"Are you sick, what's happening?" He asks frantically and confused, I move around trying to get my stomach ache to settle down.
"I'm on my period and I have pretty bad cramps right now" I say in a soft but blunt voice, I wrap one of my arms around my waist and unlock the door, opening it so that I could see his face.
He seems rather taken back by my statement and he looks down slightly embarrassed, his cheeks turn a pinkish colour and a smile at his cuteness.
"I don't really know what to do" His embarrassment turns into a laugh, his bunny smile showing again "Do you want me to get you anything?" He says fiddling with my fingers as a way to distract him from looking into my eyes.
"I have everything I need" I say fiddling with his fingers back "But can we cuddle?" I ask hesitantly, I don't want to keep him from playing his favourite game.
He grins and leads me back to his studio and sits me down on his small black couch, our legs intertwine and he wraps his arms supportively around me. I place my head on his chest and we continue to talk about childhood stories and things that have been bothering us lately. We continue like this for the rest of the night.
