You take a deep breath and wait in line to buy some ice cream. It's finally your turn and the waiter puts a finger up. You nod and look to the side. You make eye contact with a man in a grey suit.
He smiles and you give a small nod back. The waiter finally says something and you look back "someone already paid for your ice cream and their recommendation is chocolate" the blue haired boy says
"Oh, um okay" you say awkwardly tucking your wallet back into your back pocket.
"Just wait by the other window and I'll get it to you in a minute" he smiles and you nod
You walk over to the window and make eye contact with the man in the suit again. He keeps a smile and you walk up to him.
"I was hoping you'd come by" he says and looks up at you
"Were you the one who bought me ice cream?" You say and raise an eyebrow
He nods "yup. I just assumed you're by yourself and decided to buy a pretty girl some ice cream" he smiles "I hope your significant other won't mind"
"Oh, I uh, don't have one" you say "thanks though" you say and smile
"You're welcome" he smiles "decided it'd be a nice day to go for some ice cream and boy was I lucky"
You smile and say "in a suit??"
"My date stood me up" he says and you nod
"That's rough" he looks into your eyes for a minute and you feel your cheeks heat up.
The man finally broke eye contact to look at something behind you. "Looks like your order is ready" he says and you glance back
The blue haired man smiled at you and you walk over and take the cone from him "thanks" you smile and he nods
"Enjoy" he says and begins humming a little jingle to himself.
You walk back to the man and he pulls a seat out. You sit down "so, how about we start with your name??" You say and lick your ice cream
"My name is Mark-I͈̤̯̩̠͕͇̤̒́̇̂̿͒͘͞p̷̛̛̹̼̲̗͇̥̯͈̀̏͋͟ļ̪̣̙̖̠̘̓̋̓̅̄̑̔͟͞i͚͎̥̭͉̝̺͌̀̒͗̌̉͊̚͢͡e̲͖̪͍͈̬͎̣͌̅̊̐̽̈́̽̚͜͡ͅr͍̻̼̖̭̝͈͇͙̅̓̐͞͠," he smiles and you squint your eyes. Something sounded off and
you couldn't hear his voice but it practically echoed through your head.
"Sorry, it's kinda loud, say that again??" You try to play it off
"Let's go take a walk then" he smiles and you nod slowly.
You both begin walking and then you speak up once you two are turning a corner. "So, sorry about that. You said your name was??"
