A week has passed and Lael was already tired of waiting. They've been practicing all day and didn't go anywhere. Nale had helped him get better with fighting techniques, which wasn't hard once he used to practice Kickboxing. Lael couldn't beat him yet though. He was focusing on improving weaponry, even if he was already good with a gun. Edath had been helping him with knifes tactics. Simon would only teach him how to have a good self-control, mocking him all the time.

Lael was getting impatient. After eating lunch, he waited to finish his meal to speak with them.

"I don't like to be boring but when do you think we could go to the Center?" he asked carefully. He wondered what was happening with his teammates so far.

Everyone stopped joking around to look at him and then look at each other. Simon only scratched the back of his head while Nale looked to Edath.

"Soon." Edath simply replied. She was with an unexpressive face which made it hard to understand what she was thinking.

"Alright." Lael replied. He sighed and decided to continue as he felt their eyes on him. "When do you think that might be?"

"Maybe in a week." Edath shrugged and stretched her arms above her head, yawning. Lael bit his lip.

"Don't you think that might be ... a little too late?" He insisted. Simon looked away and stood up, walking towards the house, excusing himself by saying he had to continue to work on the new creation, which no one knew what it was. Edath sighed.

"Who knows?"

"I mean... I'm stronger now... and I've tried to improve and give my best. I believe I co-"

"Oh, you believe you could defeat anyone, right?" Edath interrupted, smirking. This girl... she can really piss me off sometimes. Lael gulped, annoyed to be scolded by a young woman.

"I believe we could." He replied, looking at Nale and towards the house, where Simon should be. He looked at her then.

Edath tilted her head and stopped smirking. Lael had the feeling she wasn't expecting that reply. After some seconds she stood up and clapped her hands.

"Very well. If you think we can, then let's go." She said with a voice that was trying too much to be normal. Lael opened his eyes widely for a second, surprised by her approval. Her face seemed to be normal, but Lael could see she was excited, which made Lael feel more uneasy. She's being driven by adrenaline...

Nale had the same expression of confusion as Lael. He shook his hands and then he put his index finger near his chin and with a descendent movement he closed the same finger only to stretch his thumb and pinky finger. What? Really?

Edath only chuckled and turned towards the house.

"Hey Simon! We're going to the Center right now! Prepare your stuff!" she put her hands near her mouth as she yelled. In a few seconds, Simon popped in the entrance with the same confused expression as everyone else.

"What? Edath, did you drink my hidden wine?"

"Nah. Lael here believes we can defeat everyone that can show up in front of us." She chuckled again as she ended up speaking. Simon scratched the back of his head again and sighed, making a tired face.
"Yeah. We're super heroes after all." He was returning to the house, but Edath continued to speak.

"I'm serious." Simon halted. He looked at them, opening his eyes widely.

"I haven't even finished the new thing. Nale's wrist is hurt. Lael still needs to know how to move. And you need to calm down. Are you really serious?"
