3 months later...

Today would have been Sonic and Shadow's anniversary. But no, since they had broken up three month ago. Sonic walked through the city as it rained, looking down at his feet. He had cut ties with Amy after the Shadow incident. sonic was making his to the cafe where he and shadow had their first date,sonic could only smile at those memories when he and shadow would smile and laugh but he ruined that so he could only reminisce in those memories. when sonic arrived at the cafe he saw Shadow and Silver holding hands an happily talking to each other though the window. Looking at the way Silver and Shadow looked into each other's eyes happily, Sonic knew, that could never be him. He was happy for Shadow, but at the same time, devastated finally coming to terms that he could never have shadow back but he accepted that because he saw shadow was with this other hedgehog. Sonic slightly smiled as he continued, glancing at Shadow, as Shadow glanced at him at that moment as well. Their eyes locked for a moment, and both of them nodded as Sonic continued on down the street.
