Tears still overflow my eye lids. "Cameron's alive," his voice cracks with excitement.

The tears start falling, but they aren't tears of sadness. I start crying and throw my arms around Nash.

Nash awkwardly wiggles his way out of my arms, and fixes his shirt. "Where is he, can I see him?".

"But...." shit, not another conflict!

"B-But what?".

"Damian has captured Cameron and is now hiding somewhere. Chris, Taylor, and I have been looking into it, but so far we got nothing." my heart breaks into a thousand little pieces and shatters until nothing is left. I burry my head in the pillow and start sobbing once more.

This can't be happening, it can't be. It just can't. "No, this is just a dream. This isn't real, it can't be!" I holler. Nash just stands there, motionless.

The only movement I can see, are tears streaming down his cheeks, tears of fear. Fear creeps over me, and paralyzes my neck. I feel like I can't move at all. The banking clouds outside start to curve in towards us, before they release droplets of water. The droplets start to fall harder, and harder. They fall until all I can hear is the pounds of water dropping on the roof. The louder the rain gets, the softer I sob.

For some reason, the rain calms me. It calls my name, asking me to calm down. I look up at Nash, more tears are running down his pale skin.

"Can you please go find Hailee," I ask Nash. I really just need to talk to her, she understands. Hailee's been my best friend for a long time, so I feel like I can tell her anything that's on my mind.

**Hailee's P.O.V.**

I sit in the room, where Cameron would've been, but he's not there. Taylor has his arms wrapped around me, as comfort.

Suddenly, Nash stumbles into the room. He looks out of breath and his cheeks are covered in droplets, as if he just got out of the ocean. "Des wants to talk to you, only you." he says directly to me.

Taylor and I exchange looks for a minute, until he shoos me away as a sign to go see Desserea.

Des are best friends, so we can talk to each other about anything and I know exactly what she wants to talk about.

I walk all the way back to the other side of the hospital. When I reach her room, I see Des under all the covers, asleep.

I tiptoe over towards her and look for her face. That's when I realize, the bed is full of pillows, only pillows.

I rip the sheets of the bed, finding twenty pillows shaped to look like a body. "Desserea!" I cry out.

After about twenty minuets, Nash and Taylor come into the room. The shock on my face, leaves everyone speechless. "S-She's gone," the words barely escape my enclosed throat.

"Damian," Taylor mumbles to Nash. Damian, that bastard!

**Desserea's P.O.V.**

I squirm around and try to gasp for help, but the duct tape over my mouth makes it impossible to let out any noise that doesn't sound like a grunt.

"Mhm, mhmh, mhmh!" I scream. I'm screaming, Help, help me, but nobody can understand.

"Shut up," the man who captured my screeches, as he smacks his hand across my face.

His fingers are so boney, that I feel as if his bones dug into my skin and left marks. "Well, well, well," of course, the devil is back.

I look up, and see Damian, with a knife in his hand. A devilish smirk smears across his face. "If it isn't my best friend, Desserea." he touches the tip of the knifes blade.

"Mhmh!" I try screaming.

"I'll remove the duck tape fro your mouth, if you promise not to run. Oh wait, you can't run, your tied up!" he evilly laughs.

Damian comes close to me, and rips off the duct tape as hard as he can. "Better?".

"Ow," the duct tape ripped off some of my skin.

"Tell me Desserea, have you ever heard of a blood eagle?".

"What's a blood eagle?" I ask, suspiciously.

"A blood eagle is from the time period of the Vikings. It stand for torture," oh shit.

"When you preform a blood eagle, you start with finding someone who has caused trouble or sinned," when he says that, a man pushes another tied up guy towards Damian.

That's when I realize, it's Cameron. "Cam!" I croak as loud as I can.

"It's okay Des, don't do anything." Cameron mouths to me. I silence myself and let Damian continue.

"Ah Cameron, perfect for a trouble maker and sinner. Anyways, let's proceed with the process of a blood eagle." Damian looks at Cameron with pride.

He fiddles with the knife, before tying Cam's arms to the top of two poles. "After the victim is tied up, you start the carving. You start with dragging the knife down their back, in a strait line." Damian drags the knife down Cameron's back.

"Stop, please!" I cry, as Cameron flinches at the pain.

Cameron's face scrunched up, as he releases small grunts and heavy breaths. "Next, you brake the ribs." Damian picks up a hammer and bashes it into Cameron's left side.

"Damian, please stop!" I scream and cry, trying to kick my feet in the air. I can see the pain in Cameron's eyes, as tears stream down his face.

"Now for the right side," Damian smashes the right side with the hammer, causing Cameron to gasp for air and cough of blood, lots of blood.

"That's not even the best part! Now you brake and remove the spine!" Damian squeals happily. I watch him take one more good swing at Cam's back.

Cameron squeaks and hollers as the hammer bashes into his skin. "Stop it! Stop!" I cry.

"Before I do the worst part, you can have a minuet to say goodbye." Damian leaves Cameron and I to say goodbye.

"Cam," I'm pushed towards him. I kiss his lips three times, before he opens up his mouth.

"Des, don't try to save me.".

"No, I'm gonna save you. Your not gonna die!" I press my forehead to his.

"Des, it's gonna be okay. If Damian kills me, he'll let you and Ellie live." Cameron coughs up more blood.

"I can't loose you though!" I cry.

He gives me a look of defeat and farewell," I love you so much, goodbye.".

"No! Don't say that!".

"Goodbye," Damian comes back into the room.

"I love you," I kiss him once more, before I'm pulled backwards. Damian exchanges looks with Cameron, before smirking again.

"Finally, you grab the lungs and pull them out. Making his lungs hang out the sides, like wings." he reaches into Cameron's peeled open back.

Suddenly, a gun shot is heard and Damian hurdles to the floor. He lays there, motionless. "Help!" I scream.

Chris comes running over, but is knocked down when Damian punches him. Damn, Damian is a good faker.

Chris punches him once or twice, before shooting him again, in the head. Blood sprits in various directions, covering us. "Chris, get Cameron to a hospital immediately!" I cry.

It's a pretty disturbing chapter😁. I got the blood eagle idea from the show Vikings. Okay so I have two endings planned out. Pick a number 1 or 2 and comment which one you picked. I will pick the one that was most picked. One of them will lead to a second book and another won't. Will Cameron survive?
