"You what?!" Grace says, walking towards me. Oh shit.

Of course, Hannah NOW realizes that telling the truth may result in physical/emotional pain to not just her, but to both of us.

"Grac-" Hannah starts, standing in between us, but then Grace says, "Hannah, please be quiet, as I need to ramble to Demi, and I do not want to hurt you."

But Hannah, being the stubborn, wonderful lady she is, stands her ground like she's stuck in cement. She's not moving.

"I'm not moving, even though I love you, Grace Helbig, I am- no, we are her best friends, and our duty is to have each other's backs." After that, I give Hannah a hug, and then pick her up and put her to the side.

"Hannah, you are the greatest best friend anyone could be lucky to have, but this is my fight. I should've pushed you away, but I didn't. I'll be fine, and if it gets serious, say that I fell off my bike face-forward with no helmet to the doctors."

I mean, it scared Hannah, because she probably realized then how much I had been abused before. To know what lies doctors actually believe, instead of taking you into a room for interrogation for abuse.

Grace's face (AN: I don't even have to try to make references) displays her confusion. "Why do you say that?"

"Well, after having an abusive girlfriend for a while in college, I lied to doctors all the time.

I was texting while driving.

I tripped down a flight of stairs at home when I was checking a notification on my phone.

I got hit by a car." She cringes and I nod, "It was that bad.

They believed all of those, and many more... At least until they caught her with her boss's dead body in a closet, put her in jail, and put me into witness protection, since she threatened revenge after I wouldn't defend her in court. Even though I bet you have one hell of a punch, Helbig, if you hit anywhere from my face to my stomach, I won't feel a lot of pain because I've already been hit there so many times. So, I'm here for you. I was a punching bag before for a girl, and I'll be one for you when you need me." Now I'm kind of praying she doesn't take up that offer. If she does, then all I will do is stand there and endure it. I won't fight it, but I will probably never think of her as the same caring human being that she is.

We stand there in silence, Grace's face a little less angry, but her fists still balled, until Hannah speaks up loudly.

"You didn't even listen to what I said, Grace. You, out of all people, is crazy to think of poor listening. You listen to everyone, so I'll say it one more time: I kissed her. I was the one who initiated the kiss. I was hurt, and it wasn't an ACTUAL kiss. It was like a friendly thanks-for-being-her-for-me kiss. But that's not an excuse. I know that. I think you should probably take some time away from me, maybe go visit your mom, but Demi? She didn't do a thing, sh-"

Grace cuts her off once again, "Did you ever cut, Demi?"

That caught me off guard. While I was paying attention to Hannah, she'd unballed her fists, and her eyes were starting to well up with tears.

I sigh, and slip off my jacket, and roll up my sleeves to reveal both of my arms completely scarred with slices. Tears trail down Grace's face, and she gives me a hug.

"Why didn't you tell me?"

"I told Hannah about Destiny that day I stormed off because you guys asked about my college life during my first collab. It's in my past now. She's in jail now." Grace nods, and we see Jenna look at us in utter shock. She and Mamrie listened to the whole thing from inside. "Destiny Chasman?"

I look at her with a strange look, "How did you-"

Jenna grabs my wrist and pulls me into the TV room, and plops me on the couch.

"What a-"

"Watch the program."

She snaps, rewinding.

It's the daily news program, of course, and it's breaking news. It says there's been an escapee from a prison down where I used to go to college, and it shows the escapee's photo. Brown hair, brown eyes, and tannish skin. Her wavy hair even looks sexy in the mugshot, which is RARE.

I don't realize it until the reporter speaks.

"Destiny Chasman, 24, has escaped from a nearby prison earlier today, and is a dangerous person. We report that she has been reported missing to all stations, and that police have started manhunts to find the girl who was charged with substance abuse, vandalism, murder of Stacy Jones, and abuse and attempted murder of her former girlfriend, Bella Magsdale." The screen displays a photo of me from before, when I was still taking drugs and being abused. Mamrie pauses it, and says, "Holy fuck, is that you?!"

They all look at the photo, and we are dead silent until the silence is broken by the words "I brought pizza, bitches!" by Tyler Oakley as he bursts into the room.

Just a friendly warning....

I will be unable (literally unable) to use my phone from June 15th to July 14th, so in that time frame, I will be (technically) inactive. But NOT forever! I am telling you this in advance so no one will freak the frick out and ask if I'm dead.

Just a warning.

Okay, byeeeee!
