Lightning's POV

This seems all to familiar.

The hospital lights.

The beeps.

Everything.

It took him back to the time him and Thomas where still together.

The day he ruined the relationship.

The day he did it with Cruz.

Get her pregnant.

A tear fell from his eye.

His life had been ruined from that very day.

He had no one.

He was all alone.

And it was all his fault.

Thomas's POV

"How do you like it?"

Jackson was sexy.

He was much younger than Lightning.

Yet, he wasn't as fun as Lightning was.

Jackson was far more serious than Lightning was.

Thomas didn't like people serious.

Well not all the time anyways.

"V-very nice"

Jackson was wearing his new black leather pants and jacket, he had a dark purple shirt on.

It suit his personality anyways.

He had to race today.

"So, are you going to race ... in that?"

"No silly" Jackson laughed.

"Alright ok, good luck"

Every time Lightning went out for a race it seemed much more exciting than this.

"I'll make this win for you"

Jackson smiled and kissed Thomas on the forehead.

That doesn't feel as good as Montys kiss.

Thomas smiled back and kissed Jackson.

Thomas was bored.

With no one to talk to he decided to turn on the TV.

The news.

Yes, Thomas realised he was boring.

There was nothing else on TV.

What was he supposed to watch.

He'd rather die.

The news was informative at least.

Lightning's face was on the news.

I thought he quit racing.

Did he die?

Why is he on the news?

"Race driver, Lightning McQueen has been in a freak accident during his last race, after a long time away from racing"

He crashed?

Is he ok?

How did he crash?

Thomas turned the TV off.

He had to see if Lightning was ok.

It may seem stupid.

But he still loved him anyways.

And anyways.

It would keep him up at night.
