John had told us it was time to leave, I packed all of the boyish clothes and ditched the dresses. Aren was ready before I was and was reading his book, it's been glued to his face, I put some herb oils for healing in case one of us get hurt, I looked through my dirty clothes when I felt an object in one of my jeans, a phone! my phone! I had forgotten about it the whole time, I turned it on to see hundreds of messages from my mom and my sister, I looked through them, my mom was begging me to answer, she said she loved me, my sister called me an idiot the whole time, I smiled, "It's too late fam, I'm happier" I whispered to my phone as if they could hear, then blocked them.

My father was very strict when I and my sister were growing up, if a chore wasn't done right    we would get hit by a belt, well I was the one that got hit more since I was clumsy, my mom wouldn't do anything about it she'd just stare at us, my father then passed away when I was 11, my mother had become more violent after his death but she tried not to.

We were all ready and packed "LEEETS GET GOOOING" John yelled and laughed as we left our long castle, we left the maides behind John said they'd be no use to us, although there were almost more than 50 of them.

John took us to the backyard, which was really big, it had trees and colorful flowers.

"Don't be too shocked" he said, he went in the center of the yard, his big black wings flapped open, his body had doubled in size, we climbed on his body, he didn't seem hurt by our bodies, he flapped his wings and took off.

We were up in the clouds and it was night, Aren provided me and the twins with some heat, John was fine since it's what he does all the time, John is a father to me, from now on I'll depend on John and the twins as family, Aren....well, Aren is something else.
