Since new people had come to our home, it's been a lot busier, John has been losing his money, although he has a very successful business, one man can't care for 200 people. Some people who had jobs before and are old enough to get another will get one here, then hopefully John won't waste much money on us, plus the pets.

All people will not be able to go to the cave of darkness, only younger and stronger ones.

I woke the people that are coming at 6 am, in order to be ready and flying by 8 am, John and Amber will be flying together,  because of the number of people, which is 40, so 20 on John and 20 on Amber, people were only allowed to bring really light bags of clothes, Aren is providing the heat, the twins are playing with other children, to calm them down before we took off.

It was time to leave, the day was getting windy and cloudy, which is great for Amber and John. We climbed on John, he had already doubled in size, he flapped his wings lightly, and swiftly flew into the air, Amber behind us, it was freezing compared to normal days, I tucked myself into a warm cozy blanket and hugged Iris, all of a sudden Aren hugged me, "what are you do-" I almost asked when I saw tears in his eyes, he'd been scared the whole time, I put a blanket around us three, Aren's warm tears soaking into my jacket, a while later he was a bit better, well he did manage to smile and say a "thank you"

The sun was gone, darkness engulfed us, but the stars and moon made the night shine like no other.

Soon enough we were all tired, our backs ached from sitting for so long, "we'll fly for one more hour, just bear with me, we're almost there" John assured us, I heard some groans from the people, they wanted to rest, John laughed "Just enjoy the breeze"

We reached the hotel we were staying in, "May I take your bags" a sweet man asked "Yes you may, and you might as well get some more of your bell-hops too" he said, signaling us, the man gasped "Yes sir!" he said politely rushing in.

Finally, we all had hotel rooms, the rooms were big enough to fit three or five people maximum, Aren, I, John and the twins are staying in one room, Aren and I in one, the twins in another, and Jhon in another. The night was slow, Aren had been coughing so I made him a cup of ginger and lemon tea, making sure I don't make it too strong, (it's almost like caffeine, it gives energy) he sipped it slowly, I made sure he didn't get burned, after he finished, he slowly fell asleep.

"wake up, hey, Zay, awake goddamnit" someone said shaking me as hard as they could, after a few minutes I managed to open my eyes, Aren was sitting in front of me panting, "what's wrong" I asked, confused "You wouldn't wake up, I thought you were de- dead" he stuttered, I looked around the room, thinking it was a joke, but then I heard Aren sniffing "No don't cry, I'm fine" I  quickly said, "You've been acting weird lately, what's wrong" I asked, he looked at me with sad eyes "I'm so tired" he replied, then walked to the kitchen, and made some soup for us, I sipped it slowly, dwelling on what Aren said till John burst in "It's time to leave" he yelled.

We packed our stuff and headed out, a girl with  brown eyes and skin, a  bob-cut and roundish glasses, she was from The Twenties and so was, Amber and Chicken-shit, "Hey, my name is Rea" she giggled, I couldn't help but smile "Hello,  the names Zay" I replied, she then started talking about her family, friends, turns out we were in the same school, except I never spoke to her then.

We climbed on John and Amber, Rea and I have been talking for almost an hour, but we've reached our destination, where the cave is.

We were on a mountain "Holy fuck" Rea cursed "That's right, we're climbing down this baby" John laughed.

We tied long ropes to the top of the mountain, Aren went first, then I went, and so on, we climbed down carefully, it was cold, and snowing a bit, luckily the mountain wasn't so big and we reached to the bottom.

Under the mountain is where the cave is, the entrance is full of snow we'd have to dig to get in, but for now, we were setting up tents and making fires, we started cooking, by the time we finished, it was night, and time to sleep, Aren was in his tent, I didn't feel safe sleeping alone, so I snuggled beside him, Iris slept on me, her purrs luring me to sleep once again.
