Sun light was pouring through the cracks in the heavy fabric curtains, it bathed the dark room in a soft, dim glow that danced over walls and bedsheets.

Gamzee groaned softly and hugged his pillow tighter as well as buried his face into the softness. Someone was shaking him and telling him to wake up, the young troll was never a morning person and nerver will be. He reaches back with one long, lanky arm to try and swat away the one disturbing his slumber. What he heard was a woman's chuckle "Wake up dear Gamzee, we must get ready before the others leave without us." the young jade blood spoke softly as she continued gently pushing the man's shoulder in order to get him up.

The ex-capricorn knew very well that he wouldn't be getting anymore of his beloved sleep today, and his palemate would not stop hassling him until he got up, got dressed and they were off. The boy rose to a sitting position, shirt falling off one of his shoulders as the sheets bunched up at his waist, he rubbed his deep set eyes sleepily in order to wake up. The indigoblood gave a hiss as his hair was pet at and stroked soothingly, Kanaya gave a small laugh as she planted a kiss to her moirail's temple before she went off to wake the other man whom was currently snoring up a storm on the bunk above Gamzee's own.

The ex-capricorn threw the sheets off his thin frame and swung his legs over the edge of the bed, giving his face another few rubs to get the blood flowing again. He stood and got dressed while thinking of what he was actually getting dressed for. He dreaded this damn meeting, he wanted nothing to do with it, but even if he bitched about it day and night it wouldn't change anything.
He was afraid, and he didn't fear admitting it, he was frightened of the people he'd see in a few hours, what has become of his friends? What has become of Eridan? Of Ferefi? Or his dear pal Equius? He would find out soon, if they were even at the meeting, hopefully, for their sake, they weren't.

Gamzee had dressed himself a little more official than he usually did, long sleeved shirt with a deep cut collar that was laced up with thick thread, long trousers with silver trimming that gave the garment a feel of importance, he had a lenght of jade fabric wrapped around his waist that tied off at the side and draped down, it was such a beautiful colour. And of course, he displayed the virgo sign on his chest with honour, if he even has any left...

Kanaya interrupted his train of thought by putting a cloak around his shoulders, tying it off in the front. The girl glanced up at the other and gave a soft smile of reassurance, to which he replied to with a nervous one. The jadeblood was dressed in a gorgeous dark green gown, white and black details covering the skirt, her corset accenting her lovely figure.

"We ready to head out then?" called out another voice by the room entrance, Aradia was fixing her own cloak, hers was draped over only one shoulder though. Kanaya looked at the other woman and nodded her head "We are." she stated motioning Gamzee forward to go follow the burgundyblood, and he did.

The two trolls walked the halls passing by chatter and laughter, it was so nice to hear that sound. Aradia glanced at the adopted virgo and tilted her head slightly "You seemed in a pretty bad mood yesterday, everything alright?" the female asked curious and concerned. The indigo didn't feel like talking about last night, he was being so difficult. He watched the ground as they walked "I was jus' havin' trouble with my pan 'nd stuff, ya know, the usual." he joked a bit as to make it more lighthearted and left it at that. The aries accepted the response.

Soon enough, they reached the entrance of the village, a small group of trolls had gathered there, calling each other's names to make sure everyone was there, Gamzee heard his own name be called, he rose a hand and his head tilted up slightly "Aye!" he gave a shout notifying the familiar voice. The owner of said voice made his way through the crowd over to the indigo blood. Karkat was much shorter than than the other, wearing the red and gray jumper he always did and the same black trousers with silver embroidery a few of the other men were wearing. The cancer cupped his flushes slim cheeks asking him to bend down so can give him a kiss, which Gamzee accepted warmly with putting one of his hands on the one that was on his right cheek while the two shared the warm kiss. The mutant blood pulled back "I didn't see you at breakfast today, Kanaya told me you were sleeping but shit! You got me worried ." he explained with agitation in his voice as Gamzee gave a chuckle "Nah brother, I'm fine, just needed to get some extra rest." he answered then saw Kanaya and Sollux nearing them from the back.
