I looked in the mirror as I fixed my shirt before walking out of my room. I decided to do my makeup and get cute.
I walked down the stairs and smiled at Javaris. He stood in the middle of the living room with balloons and roses.
"Good afternoon my love" He said handing me a card. Before even opening it I embraced him with a hug.
"Thank you baby" I said standing on my tippy toes and gave him a whole bunch of kisses.
I grabbed the roses from him and told him to follow me to the kitchen. I got out a vase from under the sink and filled it up with water.
"I'm going to make you breakfast" I said getting everything out.
"Okay but I have to talk to you about something" He said.
"Okay I'm listening" I said continuing to make breakfast.
"I'm going away again for a few months"
"For what" His words instantly made me irritated.
"I need to go handle some business and make this money cause what we got now obviously ain't working"
"How about you go get a real job then, open a business with the money we have!"
"London what are you tripping for" He asked standing up.
"Because you think it's okay to just up and leave your family nigga you were gone for years I was the one holding this house down! And you think it's just okay to up and leave?" I shouted.
"You already know that situation so chill out"
"No because you're hiding something. I know you are. We were too close for you to just act like you were dead and not say anything. So what's really up man where are you really going"
"You tripping I'm not about to do this with you like I said I'm gone be gone for a few months" He said
"Don't come back expecting to live here nigga cause it's not happening. Don't contact me unless it's about the kids"
"Bet you I be right back in this bitch"
I threw the bacon that I had in my hand on the counter exiting the kitchen. "Don't worry bout it I'll make sure my new man here to kick you out"
"Yo on some real shit London stop playing with me. I'll slit your damn throat" He followed after me.
"Do it then" I said turning around meeting his face.
"Baby why are you acting like that" He said gently grabbing my arm.
"Because why do you think you can just up and leave like it's okay"
"It's for business baby"
"What business you handling that's gone have you gone for months?" I said knocking his hand off me.
"I can't tell you that"
"Shut the fuck up talking to me" I said walking to my bedroom and slammed the door.
Maliki
"Dreka I can't look man I'm gone pass the fuck out" I said as we both stood outside of the bathroom.
"Well I'm not looking first" She said pushing me.
"Man toughen up for real"
"Says the one who talking bout he's going to pass out"
"Move" I said playfully pushing her head. I opened the bathroom door and she followed behind me. I looked at the pregnancy test feeling like I wanted to cry.
"Oh my god" Dreka let out a scream as tears started to fall out of her eyes. "Maliki no I can't be pregnant" she said through her tears.
I hugged her not even caring that I let out a few tears. Neither of us were ready for a baby. I'm not where I want to be right now and I wanted Dreka to be able to finish school and start her career before we had kids.
"We can't do nothing about it now baby we just gotta get on our shit for real now" I said as she wiped her face.
"Will you be mad if I get an abortion" She asked softly.
I sat quite for a minute thinking hard about the question she asked me.
"Make the appointment"
She fell into my arms again crying.

It was a few days later and I had just finished getting dressed waiting for Dreka.
"Come on" She said walking out the door before me.
It was quite the whole way to the clinic. I felt like I was about to throw up just thinking about it. I found a parking spot and parked, we both just sat there and she opened the door getting out. I blew out a deep breath before getting out too.
She stood close by me as we started walking in and tears rolled down her face.
"Man we not doing this" I said grabbing her hand pulling back towards the car.
"I'm so glad you said that cause I don't think I could of made it any further"
"We gone take care of this baby and be the best fucking parents ever"
"Period bae" She said wiping her tears. I pulled her to me embracing her in a big hug.
"If your ma knew we even came this close to aborting a baby she would of freaked the fuck out" I said
"She would of killed me and you" She laughed.
"I love you mamas" I said grabbing her chin kissing her.
"I love you too baby" She smiled.
