Draco hadn't worn a pastel outfit since the day Astoria ripped his flower crown, but he was tired of letting his fears keep him from being him.

So he took a small risk today. He grabbed his white TRXYE shirt, and ripped white jeans and put them on. He added pale blue Converse to this outfit.

As he looked in the mirror, he smiled. He genuinely felt confident in this.

He figured just in case something happened, he should bring one of his less-liked sweatshirts to school. He picked his light purple one, and pulled it over his head. He smiled at his reflection and went downstairs.

His mom gave a disapproving look to his outfit, but said nothing. She simply drove him to his favorite coffee shop, where he got his usual caramel iced coffee, and then she drove him to school.

Draco had barely stepped out of the car when Hermione rushed up to him.

"Draco!" she yelled, her normally calm demeanor shattered by pure joy. "Good morning!"

Harry and Ron joined them, laughing at Hermione's antics.

Draco smiled. "Mornin, Mione."

She bounced around, her curly hair flying in the wind, lip piercing glinting in the sunlight. "I had caffeine this morning. I'm in a good mood."

Draco grinned. "C'mon. We gotta get to class. I don't wanna be late."

The trio followed him as he headed down the hall, only to be stopped by the last people he wanted to see today.

Nott was smirking, his arm wrapped around the waist of a girl that looked similar to Astoria. Smith was crossing his arms, a stony look on his face. Astoria held an electric blue drink in her hand.

"Well well, if it isn't the faggot," Nott teased.

"Fuck off, Nott," Ron growled.

"Or what? We're not afraid of you," Smith replied shortly, eyes trained on Harry.

Astoria's eyes were locked onto Draco's as she shoved into him, spilling half his coffee down his sweatshirt.

Wow, now I'm really glad I wore a sweatshirt over my shirt, Draco thought.

Hermione leaned forward, as if ready to fight, but Ron grabbed her arm.

Draco slowly looked up at Astoria, who was grinning. Nott and Smith laughed and the other girl smirked.

Draco handed his coffee to Harry, who took it immediately. He took off his sweatshirt, revealing a pristine TRXYE shirt underneath.

He reached out, yanking the bright blue drink out of Astoria's hands, and dumped the whole thing on her head.

Astoria shrieked, and Hermione started laughing.

Draco folded his sweatshirt, and stuck it into Astoria's arms.

"I expect this washed, dried, clean, and folded up and put on my desk in first period tomorrow," he said calmly before walking away.

Hermione, Ron, and Harry followed him, still laughing.

"That was brilliant, Draco!" Ron laughed.

Harry handed him his coffee, grinning. "Nice."

"Not bad, Blondie," Hermione said, grinning.

Astoria could still be heard shrieking as they entered their first period.
