-Ross' POV-

It was about 6am when I had awoken. I didn't know why though, but today I had wanted to do something for Max. My Max. Well I've always wished he was mine, but I sadly had to end up being his adopted, "brother."

Well, before my day starts, let me tell you a story. I, of course, wasn't born into the family, and you can see that because of my fur, ears, tail. Don't exactly remember where I came from, but it hadn't mattered after I met Max.

It is quite stupid how much I love him, though.

I smiled as I got myself out of thought, and unwillingly out of bed. I made my way to my dresser, and pulled out a few dresses.

"Blue, no... Yellow, ew. White, what?" I blushed at the thought of wearing a white dress. But where was my usual pink with white lace, anyways?

I pushed the dresses back into the dresser, and opened my bedroom door in time to see one of my maids, Ally.

"Oh, good morning, your Highness!" She chirped. "Is there anything you need?"

"As a matter of fact, I do. Do you know where my pink dress is?" I asked.

"Well I believe another maid had taken it to be cleaned. Shall I go right away, and try to find it for you?"

"Yes. Thank you."

"You're welcome, your Highness," She smiled, and made her way down the hall.

Well, I guess I'll have to wait until she gets back. I shrugged, and sat on the edge of my bed, fiddled with my silk sheets, and thought, What could I do for Max?

-3rd Person POV-

Ross thought for a few moments then, came to a conclusion.

"Maybe I could make him something for breakfast!" He said, happily.

Then after Ally had came back with his dress, she asked him if he had needed anything else. Like something to eat.

"No. I think I'll go get something to eat, myself," He smiled.

"Are you sure?" She said uneasily.

"Of course I'm sure. Why wouldn't I be?"

"Well... Do you remember the last time you had tried making yourself food?" She asked, weakly.

"Um, no...? *Sigh* Yeah, I do."

"And do you remember how upset you made Sir Butt Butt Butt Butt?"

"Uh-huh. But I wanna try just one more time."

"Okay. I cannot change your majesty's mind, otherwise I'd be in trouble."

As she was about to leave, Ross stopped her in her tracks.

"Wait."

"Yes?"

"Would you mind on telling everyone to... to have the day off?" He asked.

She looked at him, and nodded as a response. And as she closed his door, she gave him a wide smile before happily making her way back down the hallway.

He didn't know why he let them have the day off, but something had forced him to.
