Chapter 4

1 Year Later

Yoongi's POV

"Ah hyung, stop over working yourself" Jimin pleaded

"Leave me alone jimin" I sigh

He kept quiet for awhile before finally deciding to leave me alone in my studio

It's been a year, a fucking year since she ran away from us, since she disappeared. We don't even know where she lives, or if she's okay, if she's living good.

I've been trying to distract myself from making a move, from looking for her.

I can't help it..

That's why I've been overworking myself from distraction. Sometimes I'd faint but that never stopped me from working too much.

I sighed and leaned my head back then closed my eyes

I opened the door and walk in

The dark and quiet aura is literally what I encounter everyday when I come home

That's why I mostly spend my time in the studio, or I'd crash at one of the kids' place.

I proceeded to my room and jump in my bed

Everyday is not the same anymore since that day

Jungkook's POV

"Where have you been?" Jennie worringly asked as I stumbled walking inside "Were you in a fight again?" She ran to me and held me for a support, then we walked to the bathroom

"Sit" She demanded then I sat on the floor then taking off my shirt as she rushed on getting the first aid-kit

She sat infront of me and started doing her thing

"You seriously should stop having fights every other day jungkook. Unnie's not gonna like it" She whispered and I looked at her eyes, it was full of pain and sadness.

For a year that she's been here, she's like a little sister to me now.  When my parents aren't here, she's been the one taking care of me, not even maids can approach me.

"It's al-"

"No it's not jungkook. What if one day it's not just a silly fight anymore and it can lead you to a serious one? Like gunshots?" She says

"I'll be alright" I whispered

I hissed when she patted hard of one of my bruises that it stinged

"I'm not taking any chances jungkook"
She whispered

"I understand" I said and weakly smiled then we kept quiet for the whole time

After a few minutes, she was done "There" She said and we both stood up

"Thanks" I stood up then walked out

I walked inside my room and opened my phone

"Yo yugyeom" I said

"Yep?" He said through the other line

"Are you free tonight?" I asked

"Yeah" He said

"Okay, I'll see you" I said and cutted off the line then proceeding changing my clothes

Drinking is the best option to forget for the night

I wore my leather jacket and jogged
out then to my car and stepped on the gas

Jennie's POV

I sighed as he immediately got out after I treated him

This never ends..

I arranged the aid-kit properly and placed it back in the cabinet

I walked out of the bathroom and saw jungkook's back going down to the stairs until I heard the door shut

He's going out again.

I guess it's just me and the maids then.

I walked down to the kitchen and drank a glass full of warm water

"I should just study" I whispered to myself

The only distraction for me.

I shook my head and headed back up to my room.

Ever since she left, everything is a downfall.

Nothing's right, everyone is a mess.
Everything is a disaster.
