Chapter 9

-4 Years Later-

Min Yoongi's POV

"Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday, happy birthday, happy birthday to you!" They all cheered

"Happy birthday jiwon!" We say and all laughed

She smiled softly, then blew the candle.

We all cheered once more when the fire was out

"What did you wish, what did you wish?!" Jennie asks excitedly

"That's something that only me knows it" Jiwon smiles at jennie who was frowning "It won't come true if I'll tell you" Jiwon added

Jennie smiles and nodded

Seeing jiwon smile makes my heart flutter

The clip ended and it all I can see in the screen was my reflection

Who is full of pain.

The clip was from jiwon's 6th birthday, it was fun and memorable.

I understand now that jiwon doesn't like to celebrate her birthday anymore, I doubt her mother remembers her birthday.

Ever since then, we would try to suprise and celebrate her birthday, even if it's just the nine of us.

She's been telling us to stop celebrating her birthday because she doesn't like it but we didn't.

It's the least we can do so she wouldn't feel lonely.

I sighed and leaned my head back "Happy birthday jiwon, you're old now, fucking.. 24." I sigh once more before standing up and going to the bathroom and taking a bath

Wrapping the towel around my waist, my phone pinged indicating a notification

I look to it and opened it

"Wait.." I stared at it

Then, namjoon's face suddenly came in, calling and I answered it

"Have you seen it?" I ask

"Hyung! Yes I have" He says "D-Does it mean she's finally com-"

"Namjoon, don't get your hopes high yet." I sigh

"O-Okay hyung" He says

"Let's wait for further news" I say, even though I didn't see him, I know he's nodding

"Gotta go" I say and hang up.

I've been saying that for years now, hoping something real is going to happen.

That's all I want, her, here, by my side.

Maybe she's going to some other country, and not actually here. Let's not assume things.

Funny how jiwon would only post like, once or twice a year, at least it's better like this than never.

I stand up, preparing to take a bath so I can go and work.

As I walk out of the bathroom, my phone ringed

I walk to it and answered

"Yeh?"

"Hyung, let's have a dinner later! To celebrate jiwon's birthday!" Jungkook says excitedly

"Sure" I say

"Let's all meet up to jiwon's favorite kimchi place tonight at 7, you still remember it right?" Jungkook asks, of course I remember, why wouldn't I

"Of course, I'll meet you later" I say

We bid our goodbyes and ended the call

Another birthday celebration without the celebrant.
Sucks.

Jeon Jungkook's POV

I look myself at the mirror and turned on my phone, looking at my wallpaper, who is jiwon

I took this picture back in highschool days, we were in the cafeteria and she was looking to her right, her eyes was mesmerizing. I took the perfect shot.

I smiled looking at her

"You're so beautiful.." I whisper

I turn my phone off and shove it back to my pocket, fix myself and got out of my room
