It was still dark when i came to. I don't know where I am, and I would rather not ever know. I do remember what happened to get me here though. Deice. The bastard pulled me into the backseat of his pod and just forgot me. I can only guess he's working out a trade agreement for me to some rich idiot right now.

Footsteps, he's coming back. Where in the world is my knife. There we are, right where i left it. Maybe he will try to grab my hair in a stupid attempt to stop my fighting. Maybe he will end up bleeding because he tried to stop me. He opened the door in front of me. Three, two,ONE! He yanked back the cloth and  I leapt out at him,  swinging my blade hand at his head. This is the one thing I regret, because he grabbed my wrists and pulled me out of the air and onto the earth, and damn it hurt.

"Planets Cadet, how long have you been hiding that skill?'

    "Since you were born, Deice."

"I can tell, now do me a favor, and shut-up."

"You never were the nicest smelling dai- mmph!"

He hissed out a low note, "I told you shut-up, listen for once Cadet." his hand smelt of earth and fresh air.  Odd, I've never seen him out of the city and gardening.

I can't wait until I find an airlock for this kid's demise. Apparently he trusts me now, because he pulled his hand away from my mouth. This poor soul doesn't know my plans either though.

"They're gone. Keep your voice low still."

"Who's gone?"

"Always curious." He leapt up and took off.

"Always an ass.."

"Not the time, Cadet."

"It's never the time." I whined under my breath.

I can't explain how glad i was when he sighed in anger. The last seventeen times we got lost, it was his fault, the same as it was this time. His navigation skills were that of a blob; horrifyingly terrible.  So, completing the action any girl who wasn't a half-witted, ninny looking for a boyfriend would, grabbed his wrist and dragged his sorry butt to the nearest  clearing. His reaction was the best. The look of pure shock when I yanked his wrist, anger when I dragged him, and the confusion when I stopped in the clearing.

"They may not be the real thing, but they can help us get where you need to be." I told him, pointing upwards as if he needed the directions.

"You want me to navigate with...stars?"

"No, I want you to find your way with the tree leaves, yes I'm telling you to use the stars! What did you think?"  I really wish he could use common sense.

He started fidgeting. Is he cold?

"Do you know...ummm...how to navigate by them?" He questioned.

"You're kidding, right?"

"Maybe..."

"Christ, not only am I stuck with a kidnapper, he has no way to find where he's going!"

"It's not like I wanted to kidnap you!"

"Then why did you? It's not like I'm of any worth to you."

"Well you are, okay? No matter how useless you think you are, you are the complete opposite."

"Woah, where'd the sudden outburst come from?"

"Shut it Space Cadet, you're lucky I distracted those creepers earlier, otherwise you'd be dead."

"Okay, if you want to get where you're going, we should get going."

"Right. Uhm, North, I think."

"North, so helpful. Any other direction besides North?"

"Nope."

He never said anything about creepers before... Maybe he's hiding more than I think......
