Today is my baby's birthday and I have a huge surprise for him. So he and the team just got back in from Charlotte at about 1 this morning. I let him sleep in because it's his day and he's all balled out...for now.
So I got up this morning to get silver balloons that spelled out his name and two balloons for his age. Then several regular silver balloons that pooled the bedroom floor. Molly and Max helped out, carrying the balloons to me so I could spell his name in order.
I ordered his cake yesterday and received it before he got in yesterday. Don't worry, I hid it well.
When he wakes up, he's gonna see the dogs with silver party hats on, a room full of balloons and some gifts from me. Everything was set up perfectly, now we just wait.
When he did wake up, Molly and Max began barking. DLo groaned as he sat up.
"What the hell?" He said.
"Happy birthday baby!" I exclaim, gaining his attention.
He rubbed his eyes as he chuckled. He was about to get off the bed when he saw the balloons in front of him.
"Really Ri?" He said.
"What? I wanted to make sure it was perfect." I say.
He smiled as he stood up, kicking some balloons out of his way.
"Did you see over by the window?" I ask.
"I did. That's why I said what the hell. Not only that, Molly and Max were dumb loud." He said.
I laugh. He came over to me, wrapping his arms around my waist. He moved in to kiss me, but I dodged him.
"No way, not until you brush your teeth." I say.
He groaned.
"It's my birthday babe." He said.
"And hygiene always comes first. Get in there and brush those teeth Mr. Russell." I say.
He groans again. I grin. I kiss his bare chest, pushing him toward the bathroom afterwards.
