Ariel 💕

I was currently upstairs in my room waiting for D'Angelo to arrive at the house. Today is the day he'd be meeting my parents and I was nervous. So to calm my nerves, I listened to some music.

After Slow Down went off, Symphony came on. I hummed along to the song as I fixed my room up a little more. I was planning on giving him a quick tour of the house before he headed back to his hotel after dinner.

I headed downstairs to the living room when I finished. I sat on the couch beside Dad. I picked at my nails, keeping my eyes elsewhere.

"So we're waiting for D'Angelo." Dad said.

I nod. I look up at him.

"Please don't run him away dad." I say.

"Oh I won't. But your brothers might." He said.

"What?" I say, my eyes widening when I hear the doorbell ring.

"That must be them." He said, standing up from the couch.

I sat there, contemplating whether I wanted D'Angelo to come or not.

There was no point in sending him back now.

Dinner went as planned and I was more than relieved. The last thing I needed was to be stressing over whether my parents loved my boyfriend or not. Mind you, I stress enough with D'Angelo's frustrating ass 🙄.

I don't need to be stressing at all to be honest 😳.

Right now I'm giving D'Angelo the tour of the house. We're currently standing in me and Ariana's room. I pointed him around, showing him our several basketball trophies that we won.

"Wow. Y'all was balling wasn't ya?" He said.

"Yup. As usual." I say.

"Bet you couldn't beat me 1-on-1." He teased.

"DLo, I'm a month pregnant. Not 6. I can drop you any day. With a baby in me, and without." I say.

"We'll see about that." He said.

I flip him off, earning a chuckle.

"Anyway, this is our room. Mom and dads room is down the hall. It's the biggest room in the house, second from the living room." I say.

"Wow." He said, legit shocked.

"I know. It's bigger than the damn kitchen. Me and Ariana's room is one of the smallest though." I say, rolling my eyes.

"Feeling salty are we?" He asked.

"Hell yeah." I say.

He laughed at my response. I continue walking him around the house, showing him all of the other rooms. I go to show him the guest house and all that.

"And you lived in this house since you were born?" He asked.

"Yes sir. Never moved." I say.

"That's amazing." He said.

"I know right?" I say, grinning.
