Look for friends, not readers. Seek out stories that you really love, stories that you think need more love, writers you admire, and strike up conversations. You need to be genuine in your conversations; don't use your exchanges as a means to sell yourself or pitch your story, because people can tell when you're being fake or when you're just coming around because you want something from them.
Wattpad is full of immensely talented people and who doesn't need more friends? If you seek out other talented people, you can all boost each other up. You never know when somebody's story is going to blow up and you can say that you knew them when they were just starting out.
