I will now very bluntly speak of how much I hate life.

I woke up after what seemed to be a nightmare, and felt like part of me was missing. Almost as if I didn't have full control. I looked around. Everything seemed abnormal. Wrong.  I began breathing heavier than ever, sweating like crazy, and feeling my heart beat faster than ever before. I fell backwards and then felt a huge bump on my head as I hit it against the wall. I heard scrambling on the other side, and not a minute later my door flew open. "S-Sara?" I heard. Bill. Something normal. "Help." I able to choke out. I started shaking, really bad.  He walked over to me and held me so tight I could feel him shake a little too. It was like the aftershock of an earthquake."Please don't go." I sobbed, pulling myself closer to his chest. He seemed misty eyed, but is quite good at hiding it. "Of c-course." he said. He pulled me in closer, so close I thought I might suffocate. Yet, just by feeling him next to me, I wasn't as afaid anymore. He's the reason I'm not afraid.

The next morning, which happened to be my favorite day of the week, was naturally a Tuesday. That meant I would have to stick through for three more days. "Bill?" I said, waking out to the garage, "do you think you could run me to the Quarry after school?" "Why?" he asked. "Uhm- uh,  no reason. I left something there and I want to be able to pick it up this afternoon." Suddenly, in the background, I heard bike tires pull up in the driveway. "I could bring you before school. We aren't that far." said Stan. I sent a nice smile, and he did too. Bill looked away and grinned, and I swore to our lord I was going to kill him. "Thanks. See you there I guess?" I said, and Bill nodded.

"What'd you leave?" asked Stan, pedaling so fast I thought I may actually get sick. "Oh, I forgot one of my notebooks out there because you distracted me." I said, messing with him.  His cheeks glowed a bright red, eliciting a smile from me. "My sincere apologies."  As he began flirting around with me, I remembered the real reason I was going. "We're here." he said, and I was ultimately going to tell him I'd walk back, but school is too fucking far for that. "I'll be back in a sec." I walked over to the rocks and looked around. Suddenly, my vision being so crystally clear, all I could see was the exact spot of where Richie's glasses were. I walked and picked up the rock to where they were and slipped them in my pocket, while slipping out my notebook.  "Found it?" he asked. I lifted up the notebook, praying he legitimately could not see Richie's glasses in my pocket. "We can go now."

Once getting school, I laughed seeing everyone try to push Richie towards me, and he was pretty confident until he saw I was with Stan. Everyone left, including Stan (which surprised me) and left me to talk to him. "Math. First period?" I asked. "Yeah." he said. "Want walk with me." I asked. I saw the whole "small kid in a candy store" look on his face, and it made me smile. "You look nice today." I said. Today's Richie and Sara were different from the ones that met at the arcade. These two were nervous. And had no clue what to say. "I'm surprised you even still want to talk to me." he said, mumbling. "What'd make you think that?"

"If it isn't obvious that you too like each other? Or am I going mental now that I don't have my glasses."

"Trust me. We're just friends. He's nice and all, but not my type." I said, making him giggle.

"Besides, why would anyone like me? I'm annoying,  I never shut up, and legitimately look like a lego brick."

"No you don't. I never shut up either, everyone finds me annoying, and I look like the physical embodiment of an aridichoke."

"What are you even saying. Your beautiful. Amazing."

We talked all the way to class and I didn't want to stop. We had more in common than I thought, and Bev was right. I only said I hated him, because I loved him. "Have fun being able to understand what the hell is being taught, considering I am now blind." I laughed and pulled out the glasses. "Maybe this will help." I said. making him swoon. He in a swift movement pulled me in and kissed me. Not even like on the cheek or a peck. Like a full on "Get a Room" sort of shit. I tried to pull of way, but he wasn't letting me go. "Wait." I said, and he stopped. "What?" he asked. He sounded sincere. He may have been someone who literally had the filthiest mouth, but he wasn't messing around when it came to the real deal.

"Tonight. The arcade. 7:00 pm." I said.

"Ahh, interesting."

"Shut up. They closer at 6:30, and I may or may not pay them to stay open. Maybe we'll continue this then." I said, and walked away, leaving his mouth hanging open.
