She is 'invisible' to those around her. She has a crush and whenever she walks pass him, she uses a small form of contact (Like a VERY small gesture filled with a lot of love) but immediately after that contact, she disappears quickly (something like walking or running away I guess, or powers..)
He wonders who was the person who has been giving him that small show of affection all these time but whenever he tries to find her, there's no one.
Basically them and their journey to finding each other or~ you can end it as a sad one-sided love. Plots and characters are all yours to decided~ Even the genders obviously, I used 'She' and 'He' for convenience.
I got this idea from the song Notice Me :3 (future me here, idk which song but I assume it's the one by David Archuleta?)
